Delicious authentic Mexican food in a place we least expect to find it! El Catrin delivered a delicious experience and great hospitality. Estefania is incredibly sweet and gave us all the best recommendations. I recommend the fish taco, the shrimp taco, the quesa-birria and the tamarindo cocktail. I will be thinking about this meal until my return to Genève. Muchas gracias, El Catrin!

The tacos were all fantastic (we tried one of each for the traditional options) and the music and lively atmosphere was just what we needed to shake off the tiredness from traveling! We went to El Catrin to celebrate my son’s 18th Birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect choice.
We ordered a pitcher of margarita, and it looked like my son discovered a whole new amazing word. 🙂
We tried all the recommended dishes- wow, everything was amazing. We had also tequila 1800 Anejo and we never imagined tequila can be so nice! – it was fantastic.
As a surprise for his 18th birthday, they brought out a cake with fun Mexican hats. We truly appreciate this unforgettable gesture.

When there with my family and some friends without reservation and we were well received with a smile and they found us a table for 5 even without 3 of us on the venue. Impossible in Swiss theme restaurant, find a smile and probably a table!! It was a great Mexican experience, nice food, ambiance and amazing service.

We are foodies from New York City, we wanted a solid selection to end our visit. The photos looked fresh and they didn’t disappoint. We tried every taco + the taquitos and each one was better than the next. True authentic flavor with reasonable price. The atmosphere here was great, bright and colorful. Only great things to say about this place. What a hidden gem. Highly recommend El Catrin!!!
