Sorry, but Italy would be disappointed.
The food was unfortunately very average, with quite long wait times for the main course and staff that were more interested in talking to each other at the front desk rather than clean our dirty plates. I suspect that the menu is too large and the kitchen staff struggle to keep a high quality throughout, but even the value for money was poor at times. The vegetables side dish consisted of a few bits of carrot and broccoli, absolutely not worth the cost at all.
We were also charged the incorrect amount, resulting in a staff member having to chase us down the street for us to return and pay for the lemonade drink which they accidentally left off the bill. We never actually got the revised bill so that is understandable that an error was made, even still there was barely even an apology for it. Would not consider returning.

The lasagna was a bit too sour, but I only had one bite. The Vitello alla Milanese was generally good but it was a little bit hard, and it was attacking the roof of my mouth. The tomato spaghetti was my favourite dish of this meal and I’d recommend it.

Walked in early enough for my husbands birthday meal, but anything after 6 over a weekend I’d say book first. Great welcome, friendly, lovely atmosphere, cosy, lively. Swift friendly service. Food beautiful and plentiful. A candle in my husbands tiramisu and happy birthday sang to him, very nice touch, thank you. Will definitely return.

Loved this fab restaurant! Absolutely packed to the rafters but still able to enjoy two courses in 90 minutes with two drinks!
Antipasti was fresh, veal with spaghetti was very generous and really well cooked. Sampled my friends pizza and it was exquisitely cooked base and dough, YUM!

We went on Tuesday evening. It was very busy, the staff & service was lovely.
We did have starters but I forgot to take photos of them.
It’s the best Veal Milanese & pasta I have eaten in years. It was piping hot as well.
My partner enjoyed his lamb chops.

Great family run restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff, tasty and authentic Italian food. Good sized portions. Reasonably priced. Glad to see that the toilets have been painted. I would recommend. Service charge is automatically added so be aware, I personally prefer to tip.

Absolutely amazing food and service. It felt like I was in Italy food came out hot and was delicious. The staff were all very friendly and happy.
