Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

First time trying Whataburger, and it definitely lived up to the hype! I had the Avocado Bacon Burger – excellent flavor and cooked just right. The onion rings were crispy and delicious, and the sweet tea hit the spot (at least the first one did!). The second tea was a little watery, probably the bottom of the batch, but no big deal. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and I even scored a reusable cup for cheap. Also, that spicy ketchup? Legit awesome. I’ll be back for sure!

I have been a regular for 2 years at this Whataburger. My food is always great and freshly made. These people are wonderful. The place is spotless all the times that I come in. JOHN makes that happens. He also takes care of the parking lot too. It is spotless and it is so clean . You can smell the bleach . The person that I love the most is MARIA. She is always nice to me and my brother when we come. She always knows what I get. It is 0600am and the full crew is always working. They are fixing something or stocking or just cleaning. This is why I love this Whataburger. This whole crew needs to be recognized. There are people that I don’t remember their names the managers should know who I am talking about on March 4th at 6am of 2026.

The slowest Whataburger of all Whataburgers. Consistently can have cars in line at the drive through til the street blocking all the parking and they don’t move. Even inside, service can take twice as long as other locations.
It’s usually clean though, and the food is fresh and hot. They also have mastered the fry to salt ratio.

I can understand food taking a while to prepare, but to have people in a drive thru wait 30 minutes for their order is very upsetting. It should be common sense by now to have the person with the order that’s taking a long time to be prepared to be sent to the parking lot to wait for their order. I waited half an hour for mine, and all I got was a soggy tortilla, because my order was waiting by the window for an extensive period of time.

Julius hooked me up, food was good and service was as well.
Had to edit my review, the day shift is awesome but I went in tonight and it was lacking. I walked in and waited almost 5 minutes for them to take my order. This worker who is a lady with pink hair saw me walk in and ignored me as I stood up to the register. She talked to her coworker instead until this lady from the back came and asked if anyone took care of me. This wasn’t really what bothered me, what bothered me was as I was waiting for my food the same lady with pink hair knocked over a bag of someone’s food(hopefully not mine) and fries fell on the floor. Instead of getting new ones they were put back in the bag. Absolutely ridiculous, she left shortly after as her shift was likely over but this is unacceptable. I got home and checked my food and I ordered a number 3 which is supposed to have three patties yet mine only has 2. Night shift is lackadaisical for the most part it seemed minus the one lady that actually came to take my order. Julius hooked me up and that’s the only reason why I still have 3 stars.

As far as Whataburgers go, this is a solid location. Simple, clean, interior and fast, attentive service. Burgers are just like any of their locations and fries were hot. I can’t say Whataburger has the best fast food burgers, but they get the job done and fries are hot and delicious!

Slowest drive-thru in existence. I’ve been to this location half a dozen times, and you always spend at least 15 minutes in the drive thru line. They have you pull up so it looks like the line is moving, but then you just end up waiting ten feet ahead of the window for the same amount of time. Whataburger is delicious, but it’s supposed to be fast food. Will not be returning here.

They left out the apple sauce and the gummies in the 2 kids meal. The burgers were not even in the wrapper all the way so onions and jalapeños fell out all over my car! It was very disappointing.
