I think if you are going to ask somebody in the drive through to pull into a spot to wait for their food then the least you could do is make sure the food is fresh. So why did I wait in a spot for 10 minutes today (mind you, I ordered ahead on the app also),l and when my food comes out the fries feel like they’ve been sitting on the counter for that entire 10 minutes? And they forgot my sauce. Do better McDonald’s. Every time I come to this location it’s a 50/50 chance of the food even being warm, and yall always forget sauces.
EDIT: went back. These are the fries I was given. McDonald’s wonders why business is bad these days, but this is what you are giving out to customers? Shameful. Go eat literally anywhere else

Slow service every time I go, there could be nobody infront of me and it’s still going to take 10-15 minutes to get my order. Almost always forgetting something in my order from sauces to burgers and nuggets, then refusing to give more sauces saying I need to pay for it when I already did. And nobody is ever at the first window to give a receipt for mobile orders or to take payment. I ordered a Big Mac today and it was drowned in sauce for no reason and because I didn’t receive a receipt I couldn’t get a refund for it. Absolutely bizarre, why would they think it’s okay to give someone a burger absolutely drowned in sauce. Pretty disappointing after a long day at work.

Food was okay (it’s McDonalds – you get what you pay for), but service was spectacular. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. This location was also very clean and well maintained.

2/21/26 Review- just placed order – attempted to get a simple order as usual and they screwed it up once again. Never posted a review bc I keep giving them a chance. After paying, they said they can’t fix the order and all we asked for was no whipped cream on the milkshakes. Simple task and yes a minor request but that’s what I ordered. We were very nice and let them know of the mistake and they refused….. oh, and they forgot the medium fries that we ordered as well. I guess this is just the generation we’re living with now. Lazy and slack. No accountability!

The restaurant is located a main intersection in Dawsonville, plenty of parking, and easy access to the intersection. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. My cheeseburgers and fries were hot, had a good taste, and the soda had a good syrup base. The fries were tasty, not overly salted, and did not taste greasy. The cheeseburgers were good, had a fresh hamburger bun, and sufficient condiments on it. Most importantly, my food was hot, which can often be a challenge, especially the fries.

Usually i don’t leave reviews especially since ive worked fast food and i know the job isn’t always easy. But i called to ask if this location still had the grinch meals , the lady who answered was rude and when i asked she said “no” before i could reply “Okay thank you” she hung up the phone with nothing else said. Could have been a busy time of day and again i understand that but to still hang up the phone in a customers face is unprofessional and rude.

The speed of service is great it’s the food that is the problem. I get so tired of going through the drive thru quickly quickly drive away then look down and get a half filled fry or even better cold half filled fries. I understand portioning and I know you guys have the utensils available to portion properly. Please use them!! I feel that when I pay for food I have the expectation of receiving what I paid for!!!!! It’s embarrassing and frustrating to have to turn around go back inside and demand to get what I should have gotten in the first place. Please retrain workers on proper portioning.. This is absolutely ridiculous it is not the first incident it happens almost every time.

Went to this McDonalds around 11:40pm, someone named K.S took my order. Order was taken at 11:50pm, went to pay and saw a sweet lady who apologized for the wait. Drove up to the last window and noticed the same individual who took my order, received my money, also brought me and made my order. She was working so hard. I did not catch her name but it states “KS” on the receipt. that individual should be praised for working so hard and providing excellent customer service. She apologized and stated that she is the only one. She deserves an A+ & a RAISE. Cleanest McDonald’s I’ve seen as well.
