Just our kind of place on the water and a more rustic feel in most of the building. There were a couple of rooms to eat inside or you could eat outside on the porch that was covered and beyond that closer to the Riverwalk which is uncovered. So lots of options. I got the crabwich and it was the perfect size for me. Flavorful and tender and delicious. The fries were fries. My husband got the fried shrimp and oysters which was a generous serving and I tasted one of the oysters, it was very good and I would order it myself. We sat in the bar area at a table and still had a view of the water. Service was good. Not sure I mentioned the oyster shooter, good but not great, needs a bit more spice.

Elijah’s is a great spot to come for sunset appetizers, drinks and possibly also dinner if you’re hungry. Their burger is next level amazing with the pimento cheese, but be ready to get messy… it will drip, so lean over the plate. I started by cutting mine in half. At sunset you’ll have sun glaring at you as it reflect off the water, so bring sunglasses. And in the winter be ready for the temperature to quickly drop after sunset. The view is amazing, watching the sun fall behind the bridge, and light up the sky in a beautiful cascade of colors. I love the casual vibe of this place, laid back with a long outdoor patio seating. They have a handful of great beers on tap, and we all loved the oyster shot with the taste of Bloody Mary and oyster together— marvelous. Low-key vibe.

We loved our expirence here. We came during lunch rush and wanted seats outside. We were seated by the service door outside (very busy) and wanted to be moved away from the traffic. They were very understanding and accommodated us. Not only that but the food wonderful. The shrimp and grits was nicely balanced and the oysters were amazing! Shout out to Vinnie for taking care of us and taking time to talk about the history of the area.

They were training new servers so it was a bit slow, but when they checked on you they were welcoming, positive & effective! A 4.5 on service 5 the day before when my friend took me. I had the steak salad and added some boiled eggs to it. It really did not need the address – was a large meal. Lots of spinach. The crab cake duo is excellent, but about $30.

It was not a busy day, but the service was slow. The wings were the best wings I have had in years! The nachos were soggy after waiting in the back for 30 minutes. The drinks were chronically empty. Food was lukewarm when it finally arrived. The flavors were very good unfortunately the time delay cooldown overshadowed the experience.

Sat on the deck. It was a rainy windy evening, but the clear panels kept things warm and dry. Food was outstanding. Had the roasted miso oysters, and oyster sandwich. Their version of an aperol Spritz to drink. Everything was very good! Service was attentive and friendly. Evening view of the river, even in the foul weather, was beautiful. This will be a new favorite in Wilmington!

The company I work for provided our entire office with a complimentary lunch of our choosing.
We chose Elijah’s. It was a large order.
Olivia was most excellent at assisting us and preparing the very particular order for us to pick up. She was extremely helpful and pleasant. Had it all neatly boxed up and ready to go at the agreed upon time. The food was excellent.
Highly recommend.

They changed the menu it is not worth it anymore! Bar food at best! It’s 8:00pm on a Saturday only 2 other couples in the restaurant the whole restaurant including outside is empty. They no longer have a menu, now it’s a mat on the table with not much on it! But the price is still the same high price bad food!. They have fish tacos, fried fish no more catch of the day! No more seafood pasta dishes, it’s bad order the soup was ice cold, got our salad wrong dressing my blackened shrimp for my salad was frozen not fresh and way over cooked like rubber, got our drinks no straws. This was our go to restaurant for a date night I am sad to say not anymore. Now before you say it’s the off season anyone that has ever eaten here knows better this place on a weekend was always packed!. My wife and I give it 6 months and the doors will be closed!

The hush puppies and fish platter were awesome! The fish platter was enough to feed two people. Their kids meals were decent sized too. Service was great and parking was easy! It was great to be able to enjoy their outside patio while being protected from the wind and rain.

Really great food and awesome to dine on the river. We spent around $100 with the Carolina boil, an appetizer, and kids meals. Cheaper options are under $20.

Loved the nachos. My 7 yo liked them too. Seafood boil takes a long time, so get drinks and an app to tide over the wait. I wouldn’t get it if you’re really hungry and need something fast. But it comes with plenty of food and spiced really well. Best part of the boil was the sausage.
