This is a nice spot breakfast lunch or dinner. Inside and outside seating, beer and drinks , and a fun selection of candy , fudge and ice cream. Service is fast and friendly but they dont rush you at all. Reasonable prices and a deduction if you do pay in cash.

This was a great experience. We had our dogs with us and my fiance went in and asked if they were pet friendly which they said yes. We waited about 8 minutes or so for a table outside and they picked the perfect spot right by the water, where we could see all the turtles, and nature. It was so beautiful out. The service was great, the food was great and the waitress even brought us water for the dogs. I highly recommend this place and we will be back

I really enjoyed going here with my family so much that I went back with my girlfriends for a brunch. I recommend sitting outside because it’s right on the water and has a great atmosphere. They have a little dock as well that you can feed turtle and fish. I also recommend after your meal to check out their indoor shop and try a piece of their fudge. The jewelry is also really cute. I ended up getting a bracelet.

Our first time there today and we will definitely be coming again! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS, the outdoor seating was so beautiful. We loved seeing the birds flying all around, and my husband and son enjoyed spotting the turtles too. The music was a vibe. The service was great! Even sitting outside, our server never forgot about us. She was very pleasant and sweet. Another thing my son and I loved was checking out all of the awesome things they have in their shop. It’s crazy how many years I’ve been in Hernando County and only recently found out about this place. It truly is a hidden gem. 100% would recommend this place to EVERYONE! Its pretty great, I only wish I knew about it sooner. Can’t wait for the next time! Check them out! You won’t regret it. ❤️

Nice cozy place with good food. We typically go for breakfast and they cook everything great! The French toast is my favorite but the eggs are nice and fluffy and not dry at all. The mimosas are tasty and so is their orange juice. The coffee is very good as well. As far as their lunch/dinner options, I’ve not had it as much but what I have had has been excellent! The club sandwiches are perfectly portioned, the macaroni and cheese was creamy but not runny, their fried shrimp is crispy, and the side salads are yummy with not too many toppings. The dressing options are very good too. I highly recommend this place! And I recommend sitting outside if you can!

The food was pretty good. The only thing my family I didn’t like was the lobster roll. It tasted like canned meat served on a slice of bread, where the bread was the star of the show. The service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and our food arrived relatively quick. What makes silver dolphin stand out is the atmosphere. A very mellow and relaxing vibe to enjoy your meal next to the water. If you like turtles, this is the place for you with the opportunity to feed turtles while waiting for your food.

This place is really neat. We’ve been there twice (we are from out of town). Eat out back and you can see the turtles off the dock, there’s TONS of them!!! For 25 cents you can get a handful of food to throw down and feed them. The shop is also very neat. The wife and I both think the food is just average though. Not bad but nothing special, kind of bland. My grandparents, however, love the food!

A hidden true Floridian gem with a side of mother nature for dinner. The outdoor area was a full on visual display of aquatic creature, lush greenery and colorful tiki kisch decor. We sat right on the water and watched gators and turtles swim along the river as we ate and drank. The service was on point and the food above average. Highly recommend for a family outing or date night!
