Visited Pizza Hut after 10 years and I have to say, it’s no surprise that the business is struggling and barely anyone goes.
Though the pizza itself is great, paying upwards of £20 for a regular pizza is absurd in today’s cost of living crisis. Especially when the competition can do an equally good job and for cheaper.
As someone who eats vegetarian food, seeing cross contamination at the salad bar just doesn’t cut it. Seeing crispy bacon in the crispy onion is a fast track to a low rating. Not to mention, salad items not being clearly or obviously labelled.
I couldn’t help but feel that the whole restaurant, plates and cutlery included, had this horribly dirty and sticky feel to it. Especially the floor – it looked and felt unhygienic to walk on.
The staff, as polite and efficient as they are, all look somewhat bored and unhappy working at Pizza Hut. It really says a lot about the restaurant.
I think I’ll give it another 10 years before I visit again. That’s if they haven’t gone out of business.

We had an amazing experience at Pizza Hut in Halifax thanks to our server, Zak! From the moment we sat down, Zak was warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive. He made sure everything was perfect, checked in at just the right times, and had such a positive attitude that it really made our meal special. The service was fast, professional, and full of great energy. Zak is a true asset to this location—one of those servers who turns a good meal into a great experience. We’ll definitely be back because of him!

Very surprised how good and well run pizza hut in Halifax was today. Greeted by Sam at the door. She was great. Seated quickly. The buffet was on, on a Sat, which was a suprise, ordered and was well looked after. The food did become a’ how good is the garlic bread war’ between me and my daughter. Really enjoyed, but now have to go home and tell my wife what we did. I’m in the bad books, so I expect we will be back very soon. Wife included.

Fantastic experience at Pizza Hut! The service from Sam and Harriet was excellent. I initially forgot to include ice cream and drinks in the kids’ meal deal, but when the kids asked for it, Sam kindly upgraded us to the buffet option free of charge. She was amazing and went above and beyond to help. Truly great customer service — thank you!

Came for the buffet with my 3 children & sister. Sam greeted us at the door to sit down she was helpful with getting us seated even after we changed our minds twice. Very helpful with a smile on her face. Lovely service from her quick & efficient it was the lunchtime bit of a rush on seemed to be on with only 1 other waitress still managed very well despite the rush.
