This was our first time visiting this location in over 10 years. We have dined at many Italian restaurants over the years and consider it to be our favorite type of food. We made reservations for two through OpenTable and were seated with 10 minutes of our reservation time.
Our server seemed to be a newer employee and possibly lacked proper training. After being seated at our table, we waited over 10 minutes before we were greeted.
We placed our drink and food order at the same time. Our bread, soup and salad came out fairly quickly, but unfortunately, our entrees took longer than expected. We did hear another server inform his table that they were running slower than expected due to the Valentine’s Day crowd. Which surprised us due to the amount of empty tables in the dining room around us. Once our food arrived, it was hot and tasted as expected. It took over 15 minutes for our server to check on us after a food runner delivered our food. By this time, both of our drinks had been empty for a while. Overall, the experience was just OK. We will give OSF another chance in the future and hopefully we have a better experience.

During my annual birthday celebration, the establishment was not operating at full capacity. Regrettably, the Thousand Island dressing was unavailable. My Caesar salad was served with a minimal amount of dressing, while my wife’s house pesto salad was excessively salty.

While awaiting our meal, the patrons at the adjacent table were vocal about their service concerns, making it difficult to disregard their comments.

The portion size of my $20 entree was notably small. I was informed that their standard platters were currently undergoing cleaning.

Typically, the service at this establishment is exemplary. However, on this occasion, the service was slow, which I attribute to a potential staffing shortage.

We were told it would be a 30 minute wait, turned into 42 minute wait. I figured with the large crowd and the amount people inside the place, that this would be a positive experience, and that the food must really be great. The inside was gorgeous, beautiful scenery for sure! Shortly after we were seated, our waitress walks up rolling her eyeballs, sighing and said loudly, “I don’t know why they keep seating people in my area.” And then she asks, “Do you guys know what you want yet or do you need to look at the menu?” Usually the first thing a server asks is what they can get started for you. Like drinks or appetizers. We told her what we wanted to drink and that we wanted the minestrone soup and garlic bread, but we needed a couple minutes to figure out what we wanted to eat. The soup and garlic bread were good. The lasagna he got was from a commercial package, or old. The chicken Alfredo I ordered was from a jar, and the chicken was processed. Very disappointed in the food. It gets better because we were long finished with eating, waited half an hour to see our waitress again for the third course (ice cream)….brought us the ice cream half melted and soupy. Waited another half hour for her to come back by and not bring our check. I stopped her going by, and asked for the check. “I didn’t give it to you?” No! Can we have it, we’d like to leave.

This place has been a staple in our family since it was originally located in downtown Cincinnati. It is well worth the drive to relish in this family favorite and celebrate a family member’s birthday. Although there were some minor issues with our server, we understand that nothing is perfect and that will not deter us from returning to enjoy another meal or celebrate another momentous occasion.

You can’t beat the prices for a 3 course meal inclusive with dessert Spumoni and vanilla ice cream. Large variety and portion sizes for all appetites.

Walking into this atmosphere is like taking the DeLorean Back to the past where the photographic documentation on the walls as well as the furniture it is like going back in time. An education on what it was like centuries ago in Cincinnati. I highly suggest you check out the trolley car it is a fan favorite with our family

Visited today on a girl’s day out. We waited for a few minutes before being seated but it wasn’t too long. Shortly DeMaije came over and took our drink order. Through our dining experience he provided excellent customer service, brung our appetizer, salad/soup and entrees in a timely manner. I ordered the Sicilian Meatballs with a side of Broccoli, while sharing the Sicilian Garlic bread as an appetizer. Everything was delicious and served in abundant portions! To end on a sweet note, I enjoyed their Gluten friendly vanilla ice cream – Amazing!

Overall, 4.5/5! Would definitely recommend!

The service was great. We had a large group of over 120 children. They got us in and out. I never had spaghetti with meatballs and sausage, but it was delicious. I’m not big on ice cream, but that was delicious.

Great professional and friendly server. Meal courses were not rushed at all. Food was great. The shrimp scampi appetizer is wonderful. The chicken marsala of very good but the mizithra spaghetti with it was really good. Such a great flavor. First time having that and really enjoyed it. Prices are good for that good quality of food. The olive garden back home is a little more expensive but not a good as this. Good atmosphere too. Trolley car inside was cool.

I hadn’t been to an Old Spaghetti Factory in years, since they closed the downtown Cincinnati location. A doors at the entrance almost sent us back to the car when the door on the left was locked, and the door on the right required quite a tug. Someone should have those doors adjusted. The second set of doors worked much better. The interior of this location was impressive and opulent. The place was nearly empty.

We arrived around 5 and were seated right away. We waited for some time before a young gentleman came and asked if we’d been waited on. He promised to figure it out. After a few minutes, a young lady asked, and promised to figure it out. A little bit later, a different young lady showed up and apologized, explaining they told her the wrong table. Paper place mat menus were tacky.

We ordered chicken Marsala and fettuccine Alfredo. The bread was underwhelming, and the butter scarce. Soup for her and salad for me arrived. I tried the soup and it wasn’t bad. The salad was completely unimpressive. The lettuce was browning on the cut edges and there was a few small pieces of carrot. It looked like something you’d be served at a truck stop.

The pasta was absolutely underwhelming. Noodles were dry and cold. My chicken breast bore the hallmarks of being microwaved. The Marsala sauce tasted like… nothing.

I also tried the Alfredo. Three words come to mind: bland, bland, and bland. It likely came from a jar, or maybe even a bag.

We never got refills. We skipped the ice cream.

The difference between the atmosphere created by the building versus the service and food that were very low quality was confusing. Food and service were… Italian Waffle House. Even the offer of a free meal could not lure us back, so don’t bother with that.

This place should have more 5 star reviews in my opinion, unfortunately I understand people usually dont think about leaving reviews unless they have a bad experience. This place is beautiful, as pretty as i remember it from when i was little actually. The service was amazing, they were so nice even though we showed up 45 mins before they close. And the food was so so delicious from the bread to the salad to the entree to the tiramisu and chocolate cake that my bf had. Perfect experience!

The atmosphere was lovely—I absolutely loved their decorations and furniture, which were truly impressive. The staff was friendly and professional. However, the food was quite salty. If you’re not a fan of strong salty flavors, I’d recommend asking for “less salty” when ordering.
