Reviews
I wish I had caught our server’s name. He was phenomenal and we enjoyed talking about comics and such with him. He was very attentive and on top of everything! I never had a cup go empty. He went above and beyond.
My boyfriend and I came here on a day trip from about two and a half hours north in Seneca County, and we picked this place for food because it looked neat. We were not disappointed! Decent prices, excellent service, very tasty food. Thanks again to our awesome server! 🙂
I got the bourbon and berries cocktail, and it was awesome! It was obviously very strong, but it went surprisingly well with my beer cheese burger. The burger tasted delicious, probably one of the best in Dayton. The fries were also really good, and I’d say the amount they give is very reasonable for the prices. Ultimately, for 2 burgers, an extra side salad, a cocktail, and a lemonade, we spent around $50 not including tip. It’s not the cheapest place, but it’s also not the most expensive either, and I’d say for the vibes and the quality it’s well worth it.
Update: I’ve added pictures from our most recent visit. My review above still stands!
I ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich, troll fries, and the Bourbon cheesecake for about $30 USD. The food was good. The 2 large chicken strips were great, but the seasoned French fries were a touch too salty for me. They were good and like the throwback Rally’s fries, but just a little bit too salty. The cheesecake was good and came with a shot of Bourbon. I was expecting a Bourbon glaze or sauce, but the shot worked .
PROS:
* The ambience and vibe of the restaurant is super dope. The rehabbed rustic warehouse look was executed flawlessly. From the bookcase doors to the great vaulted ceilings, there is not much to dislike here. Furthermore, the place is huge and could fit 100-150 people easily.
* Friendly bartender who was rushing around Luke crazy to fulfill the dinner rush. My guess is that like 15 people came in prior to the kitchen close time.
* Very reasonable prices, especially for the value.
CONS:
* None
SUMMARY: Heck yeah, I’ll be back. This is like a hidden gem in the Dayton area.
