The food is delicious, WOW. The portion size is amazing! You feel right at grandma’s here. The sevice, is spectacular! It’s a slice of home you didn’t know you missed. The pancakes size and taste are out of this world. You have to try it all. Stop reading and drive over there already or come in now get out the car!

What a great hole in the wall gem! The atmosphere is taking back to when things were simple and offers a unique boutique style shopping experience as items displayed throughout are for sale! Unique hand crafted items as well. The service is impeccable. The food was great gave you that feeling of grandma’s home style meals. Great portion sizes. All of this and founded with a great story! Go in try them out we went for breakfast last week and we will be going back! Thank you to the Ronnies restaurant staff for a great experience!

Very nice place very nice people. But the food was not good. I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was a process patte, like a the frozen ones from the store. The waffle had no flavor. I was very disappointed because I have never had chicken and waffles like this before, I truly wasn’t expecting it. The biscuits were frozen and then baked up a little or microwaved. They were rubbery. The food had a butter flavored oil taste to it. And it wasn’t for me. But they were very busy so it seems a lot of people like this place

⭐️ Ronnie’s Café – Honest Breakfast Review ⭐️
3/10 (my meal) • 7.5/10 (husband’s)
I flew in late last night, skipped dinner, and woke up absolutely starving—so I was really excited to try Ronnie’s Café after seeing so many great reviews. The café itself is adorable: cozy, welcoming, and exactly the kind of spot you want for a comforting breakfast. The staff was friendly, fast, and helpful from the second we sat down. Coffee was solid, portions are huge, and the overall vibe is warm and inviting.
I asked my waitress for recommendations and specifically double-checked that the corned beef hash was homemade, she confirmed it was, so that’s what I ordered, along with medium-well eggs (whites cooked, yolk still gel-like) and a side of hollandaise. (My favorite breakfast usually!)
Unfortunately, the meal itself missed the mark for me.
• Eggs: Overcooked to the point I could lift the yolk with my fork.
• Corned beef hash: Definitely didn’t taste homemade. It was extremely mushy, lacked seasoning, and honestly made me cringe on the first bite.
• Hollandaise & house potatoes: The saving grace of the entire plate, both were delicious.
I’m not someone who sends food back. Had the waitress asked us if we were enjoying our food, I would have been honest and ordered something else, but she was busy and quickly walking by asked if we were good…so I made do with toast, hollandaise, and a bit of the hash. I left full, but the dish itself was a 1/10 for me, bumping it to a 3/10 since I didn’t leave hungry and the service/aesthetic were good.
My husband ordered the chili omelette and said the chili tasted like Hormel, but he still enjoyed it thanks to the generous portions and good overall flavor. His rating: 7.5/10.
Final thoughts:
I would come back, but I wouldn’t order the corned beef hash again, and I’d clarify the egg order with the chef. The café itself is lovely and the staff is wonderful—just a miss on the dish I chose.

Amazing breakfast! Got one of their skillets, and the portions were huge! Biscuits were fresh, along with the vast variety of hot sauces! The staff was super friendly, and checked in every once in a while to see how my dining experience was going. If you’re visiting Phoenix and looking for a breakfast fix, definitely eat here! You won’t leave on an empty stomach!

It’s fairly large restaurant and there were lots of tables available. The French toast was really good. The two eggs breakfast was ok. Portions are large.

1st time coming here and WOW, this place is amazing. If you like generous portions, this is the place and you will not leave hungry. Pancakes take up an entire plate like a small pizza. Homestyle potatoes are the best I have ever had. Chicken fried steak was great. My daughter had an omelet, it was huge and made with 5 eggs, not like most places where its only 3 eggs. This is our new favorite spot.

When we were sat we waited over 5 minutes to be acknowledged. They were busy, I understand that but then our server walked right past us to a table sat AFTER us and took their drink AND food order because she knew them. She stopped by us on her way back and I told her we were ready to order and I was told no, other people were in front of me and she would be back. Mind you she took the other tables order that was sat after us. We then sat another ten minutes waiting for her to come back for our order. Service sucked! Food was cold. Butter never melted on our waffle or toast. Never asked if I wanted a refill on my drink. My husband received coffee refills. Server then proceeded to yell “no tip” as I walked out to which I said “NO”. You are not entitled to a tip just because you are a server. You are entitled to a tip for GOOD service. She did not give good service. And how trashy that the owners let their employees act like that in a packed restaurant. DO BETTER

My friend has been raving about this place for over a year now. I finally decided to stop and try it. Definitely a hit. I got the food to go and it was delicious. As soon as I walked in, I could tell this was the type of place where everyone seems to know everyone else. It was super welcoming and the server was incredibly kind to everyone there. I was impressed as I watched and listened to the various interactions. Loved the pancake and home fried potato. Plentiful portions.
