The cheeseburger and mashed potatoes were delicious. French onion dip and salad were good too. We recommend both! The warm pretzels were good.
The kids mac n cheese wasn’t Kraft; it was penne noodles with what appeared to be a homemade cheese sauce! It also came with a breadstick. High chairs and car seat stands were available for young kids.
The women’s bathroom had a changing station in the large stall.
I would definitely come back and try something different on the menu!
Lesson learned.
Taps & wines are perfectly fine tho! Have yet to try the food but I imagine there are both good and bad choices you can make there, much like the bevs.
The chicken lettuce wraps were insanely spicy and not that great. My apple walnut salad tasted like it had some foul ingredient in it and I wouldn’t eat another bite.
My son enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich and they have good beers on tap but otherwise this wasn’t a great experience.
My only complaint is that the floors (both in the main dining area and in the restrooms) were sticky. I’m guessing it’s probably because they use too much soap when cleaning the floors.
It definitely has a fun, laid-back, casual atmosphere to it. They also had free popcorn to bring to your table, which was located at the far end of the bar.
For the appetizer we got, Mexican Street Corn Dip, which was really good. It wasn’t super spicy, but it did have a mild kick to it. It’s a great app to share. We would have loved to try others, but there were only two of us, and we would have been too full to even eat our main course.
My guest got Bourbon Shrimp and Steak, with waffle fries and veggies. It was really delicious, with a great combination of meaty, seafood, and BBQ. I actually wish I would have gotten that dish after trying a few bites.
I got the Smokey Mountain Chicken Sandwich with waffle fries. It was pretty good, and the sandwich had good flavor, but when we cone back, I would want to try other items, so I probably wouldn’t get it again…. but I was glad that I tried it, and it was satisfying.
For dessert, we got mini donuts… it’s fun because they come in a bag, just like the state fair. They were piping hot and very delicious.
Overall, I would definitely come back to this place. They have other locations, but I live close to Blaine, so I’d probably just go back to this location unless I was in the area of another one.
