Bodega 8 seemed to be located in a nicer part of town. So the area was very nice and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great.
We ordered the octopus and the cauliflower and both were amazing. The soft shelled taco was good, but nothing amazing.
Why we didn’t give it t stars is because we actually went their for their steak and they told us they were out of all steaks. Kind of a bummer that we went all the way there. I did see other posts that people experienced the same thing.
Still had a great experience and would go again.

The bone marrow didn’t seem to have any in it, wasn’t sure of that was for only holding the onions and cilantro. Regardless, it was awesome!

Here from California and we had a very pleasant experience. My husband, son and myself were very pelased. Everything was amazing and our server David went above and beyond. Very knowledgeable and extremely respectful. Managerial skills you just can’t teach. I took a pic of our server and my husband. Hands down ask for David. There’s a dessert with a cinnamon with ice cream that’s to die for!!

Greeted by staff as we walked in. Got us sat within a minute of arriving.
Atmosphere was really mellow and relaxing. Music was quite loud for my taste and noticed it’s so loud that staff have earpieces in order to hear each other.
Service was exceptional. Multiple servers waited our table along with numerous supervisors in black suits who are making sure everything runs smoothly.
Food was absolutely delicious and worth the wait. Meat was super tender and the Octopus Chicharrón was mouth watering.
Drinks were also very good and which finished off the night for us. Definitely coming back!

For a fancy restaurant in an elegant location, this restaurant was very disappointing. The food was good but not enough to make up for the bad service and poor atmosphere. The music was loud as if they thought it was a night club (which it was not) and the lighting was fairly dark. The service was surprisingly bad. I’ve been living here for a few years and never received bad service but this place was different. The servers were hard to locate, unaccommodating and not friendly. Shocked by the level of service we received.

The establishment was really cute and the service was awesome. The food was tasty and the drinks were great. Our waiter was who really made our experience memorable and I definately want to come back next time I am in town. Service was quick even though it was fairly busy. Music was a little loud, but you hardly noticed after you settle down. Overall, great experience from the very beginning. I recommend making a reservation, I made one and they were simply on point !

I am staying Mexicali since March,2024. I visit here 3 times and every time I feel great going Bodega8. As well as food is amazing, the atmosphere and staffs are amazing.

Great service and atmosphere. The food is excellent! We were a party of 12 and everything we ordered was delicious. It’s more of an upscale restaurant (don’t wear shorts…it isn’t Denny’s) and great for special occasions with friends and family.
The staff is what makes it truly wonderful.
