Took the family out for a nice dinner on our last day of our visit to Great Falls. We had the spinach artichoke dip which I didn’t really care for. It was a bit runny and served with soft pita bread. The charbroiled pork chops and garlic mash potatoes was fantastic along with the house salad. Prices range from mid $20 to $30’s for an entree. The atmosphere was excellent along with the service. Total wait time from ordering to eating was about 25 minutes on a 4 top so not bad at all. I would recommend eating at the Montana Club.

The Montana Club was recommended to us by our front desk receptionist, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. The food surpassed all expectations; from appetizers to desserts, each dish was full of flavor and expertly prepared.

Despite the bustling crowd, the service remained prompt and attentive, ensuring that our evening flowed seamlessly.

The rustic decor added to the ambiance, evoking a cozy cabin atmosphere that enhanced our dining experience.

Without a doubt, I highly recommend The Montana Club to anyone seeking exceptional food, great service, and a memorable dining experience. We are already planning our next visit, eager to indulge again.

First problem is a Steak House with NO FILET!
Second problem, ordered the Hamburger Stew. This is FAR from a stew! A couple pieces of ground meat and pasta does NOT constitute a “Stew”! A “Stew” is supposed to be “Thick and Hearty”
Third and final problem: Ordered the “Blackened Shrimp” and pasta. The shrimp was anything and far from being “Blackened”! Looked like it was slightly grilled at best.
What came out food wise was average tasting at best. The staff and service were good, but the food did not meet ANY type of expectations I had for ANY TYPE of a steak place. Especially being in Montana.
A commercial steak house has better food cheaper

I went there on December 11, 2025, my 72nd Birthday (12/11/1953). With the intention of having a nice steak dinner with a 72% discount. Joining me was my sister and brother-in-law. In the past, I have had many good experiences at the Montana Club which I was expecting on this night.
When I arrived, I was immediately taken to the table where my sister and brother-in-law were already sitting with their menus (they had just been seated a few minutes they said). I was given a menu. Then we waited for over 25 minutes and NO ONE came back to our table with water or to take our order. So we gave it a few more minutes, still NO ONE came to our table. So we got up and left, none of the employees even noticed.
We went to Dante’s Creative Dining and had an amazing meal with exceptional service.
We will not be returning to The Montana Club anytime soon.

My wife and I had a great experience having lunch today. The new chicken sandwich that’s only been out for a few weeks is fantastic, also, we had the chicken lemon rice soup spot on. Great job! You must try it

Food is a hit or a miss here. Ordered multiple apps and aged ribeye. Meh. Nothing to write home about. Could have gone to a big chain restaurant for a better steak, sadly. Cool place to drink though.

We both ordered water and the water tasted like pool water. Then I ordered a burger and the bacon was super chewy, the patty was way over cooked tasted like fake meat. My fiancé ordered the classic club they missed all the cheese on it and they put 10 lbs of mayo on it. And to top it off our waitress only stopped by once. The quality of food for price is beyond terrible our bill was 42 for food that wasn’t even edible

I went with a group of five tonight, 1-31-2026 and every single person at the table had problems with their food. 4 out of 5 meals were sent out cold, and after sending the worst one back, they brought it back to me and the bun was completely soggy paired with au jus that looked like water and stale parmesan cheese fries. For being one of the top rated restaurants in Great Falls, this was a let down. Absolutely dreadful.

My family and I flew into Great Falls, Montana on the evening of 9 Aug 2024 and needed some food after we checked into our hotel. I had a list of restaurants to try during our stay and The Montana Club was on the list because I’ve heard good things about this business…not to mention, their online reviews seemed legitimate. We left our hotel and headed towards the restaurant immediately because I realized this restaurant closes at 9 pm, which was surprising to me considering it was a Friday night. Living in Las Vegas, it’s often forgetful that other cities actually close down early.

When we walked in, the restaurant wasn’t busy at all (go figure, right…considering the time we arrived). Our hostess didn’t seem as enthusiastic when we walked in (perhaps she just had a rough day at home and/or work), so I try not to have that affect my rating of a restaurant as much unless it was significantly negative…but it was clearly noticeable. Regardless, she still sat us down and away from other customers, which I appreciated. On the other hand, our main server, Shelby, did such a phenomenal job the entire evening. She was very friendly; highly efficient, professional, attentive, and operated at a fast speed…these are traits that other employees could learn to emulate in Great Falls. More often than not, service at restaurants tend to go downhill towards closing hours because everyone is excited to go home, so the service can be hit-or-miss at times. But there’s no doubt about Shelby’s profound customer service and what she brought to the table (figuratively and literally), especially during the final hour of her shift.

We ordered the 8-piece Buffalo-flavored Wings for our appetizer; Huckleberry Filet w/Creamy Southwest Chicken Soup, Chicken Parmesan w/Caesar Salad, and Seafood Primavera w/Clam Chowder for our entrées; and Huckleberry Crème Brûlée for our dessert. The wings were pretty spicy; normally, I love spicy food, but as I’ve gotten older, it seems my tolerance has significantly declined. The flavor of the sauce was slightly different from the majority of Buffalo Wings I’ve tried in and out of this country…but, it was different in a magnificent way. The Chicken Parmesan was flavorful and could probably feed 300 Roman soldiers (ok, not that drastic, but you know what I mean). The Seafood Primavera was just ok; I’ve definitely had my fair share of outstanding seafood-centric pastas in my life, especially in Las Vegas…but unfortunately, this entrée didn’t do it for me. Both soups were good and the Huckleberry Crème Brûlée was the star performer of the evening! The Huckleberry Filet had a nice char and was adequately seasoned; however, the temperature wasn’t accurate to what we ordered (we received rare-to-medium rare, when we ordered medium). Fortunately, Shelby was nice enough to take back the steak and have it placed on the grill longer. When the steak was brought back out, it seemed that they cooked an entirely new steak which we appreciated, but it still was cooked around medium rare. At this point, it was close to their closing hour so we just ate it (I didn’t mind it as much, but it was my wife’s steak).

I know some may argue with me, but I feel that the prices were very reasonable at this restaurant. I’ve had the luxury of trying restaurants of every caliber and believe me, the price-to-quantity/quality ratio is adequate. I especially respect this restaurant for their continued support to the active men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans – thank you for that! Overall, I recommend this restaurant to all locals and visitors.

The ranch dressing was good. Nice looking place wash l what I expected for the prices. Not busy when we got there. Took a bit to get sunshine to our table. The pomegranate lemonade didn’t taste like either. The Arnold palmer looked good. Bland. We hadn’t decided on an appetizer. She’d said she’d come back. It took a while. We got our order in. Spinach artichoke dip comes with pita bread. Neither of us took more than one or two bites. Salad showed up pretty quick. Good ranch dressing. Fettuccine Alfredo was sticky, not creamy. Not much flavor. Grilled chicken was OK but a little dry. Mac n cheese maybe two bites. 75$ for some grilled chicken and one refill. Waitress dropped off wrong check, it had already been paid
Took 10 minutes before she got back to find out and give our check to us. We were ready with the credit card, so we workable lose her again. Maybe off night, but we won’t be back.
