Ordered food last night (2/26/26) and the front counter person smelled absolutely rancid. I’m not one to judge but dear lord, please, don’t have smelly people handling food so directly.
Food was fine, just surprised it didn’t taste like BO.

Its McDonald’s, they serve edible food for cheep. However this particular McDonald’s repeatedly gets my drink order wrong. Its happens almost every time I go here. Most of the time its just the wrong size drink, but sometimes its not even close to what I ordered. Go to a different McDonald’s in Chico. We have plenty of others that dont mess up your drink order.

We had a great experience. Stopped in late Wednesday night on our way back to Marysville. The Manager that helped us was excellent. My child doesn’t like speaking to people and doesn’t notice a lot of things. He commented that this was the best employee we have encountered at a fast food restaurant. I was very impressed with this young man and his interaction with my child. Thank you for going out of your way to reach him. You definitely made an impression on him.

Bad customer service because there is nobody there to help you out in the restaurant. I stood at the counter for 6 minutes, timed it on my phone and not one employee seen working the window or bagging up orders. I finally walked out even though I got notification my order was ready, it was never served. I canceled the order. It was a total Waste of time, gas and left feeling awkward how McDonald’s is running their business with no employees helping out customers inside the lobby.

Slow service. Took over 15 minutes to get my order. Manager was setting out by front door smoking cigarettes and no greeting or acknowledgment from the staffs or manager.
Tried dine in on 1/20/23. Again service was super slow. Ordered some nugget happy meals for the kids and a mcdouble. Nuggets were well expired, cold and hard. Mcdouble came out looking like some someone just threw everything into the wrapper. My cheese was all over the wrapper instead of the burger. Safe to say we will not be returning to this location.

This is just not a 1 day review of my service but this is a 5 month weekly review of my service. Chucky has been amazing and beyond standards, I take my grandmother here once a week to get her regular. He has always treated us kind, fast and great management role. We live out of town and when we come to the McDonald’s just for his excellent service. Thank you chucky!!

Absolute trash. How do you give someone a stale cold burger at 10:51 in the morning?? They literally were transitioning from breakfast to lunch. Every other fast food place I’ve gone to ever has had super hot, fresh food right at the transition. Come on. Gotta do better than this. Order went straight to the trash and I went across the street to Carl’s Jr.

It shouldn’t take 25 minutes for me to get one drink which has happened numerous times over the last couple of years with the exception of the last 5 months because I don’t go to this location anymore, because of all the problems and not getting my drinks made correctly after I sat there and waited for over 25 minutes in some cases. That’s ONE DRINK, a mocha frappuccino with a shot of espresso or two shots. If it’s that difficult to make it shouldn’t be on the menu. But a friend went there today to get a drink for us, four coffees, which she usually goes to the palmetto location we do all of us me my bosses everyone I know, because we don’t go to this location anymore, and she ordered the same four drinks she gets every Saturday for us and waited 45 minutes at the Connor’s Ave. location. 45 minutes!!! Called to talk to one of the managers, who said they’re instructed to never give their names out, so we don’t know who to ask for when we go in the store or to tell them that we spoke to a manager because we have no name. So save your receipts people so you can show them the receipt and they can look up who the manager was at that time that you came in that whatever day you had a problem. who sat on the other end of the phone, “uh huh, uh huh uh huh” to everything that I said, then, IS THAT IT? Just a drink problem? Of course I responded, “no that’s not it!”, there’s a Time Factor, and an attitude Factor. Which I explained in great detail to which she said, “uh huh!”. Anyway after 20 minutes on the phone she said not one single thing that helped me, and I was irritated with her, because she had nothing constructive to say. I informed her that nowhere in Los Angeles do you wait any more than like 4 minutes once you enter a line at any fast food place. It just doesn’t happen. No one stressed out saying how long it takes because it doesn’t take long because it’s fast food, and everyone knows it’s fast food and they get their food quickly. It’s not slow food. Anyway because of the attitudes and because of calling about 4 months ago to complain about a particular employee and his horrible attitude when I was ordering one single drink got my receipt and sat down across the room waiting for it and he started yelling and asking me questions about what I had just ordered. I told him I have the receipt here it’s a medium mocha frappuccino, etc etc I mean it was the most ridiculous thing ever. Plus he definitely had an attitude with me and all I had done was ordered and paid for one drink. Yeah no problem with an entire group of people before me for the entire group of people after me but was yelling across the restaurant at me to ask me what I had ordered. I have no idea what that was about. It was bizarre to say the least. I called right after that spoke to a manager who was going to look into it and call me back within the next day or two. This was months ago she never did call back and I just said “forget it”, and that was about 4 or 5 months ago and no one I know has ever gone back there and I have not gone back there and I didn’t go back there today but a friend of mine who know normally does not go there stop there because they forgot to stop at the other one which is way across town for me, but is where I go every single day, because I am tired of the problems at this location. I don’t have those problems at the palmetto location, and never had any problems with a fast food establishment anywhere in Southern California, maybe it’s in the drinking water here.

I have not had a good experience with this location yet!
From messed up orders, apparent lack of training and just a plain ol’ “I don’t give a crap” attitude. I go back every couple of months because I get a Mickey D’s craving hoping that things changed, but to my dismay… they haven’t changed anything in a few years.
It may not be the managers fault for getting kids from school expecting $20.00 per hour with a $5.00 per hour work ethic… but DANG IT, something has to be done!
