Based on the reviews, we decided to celebrate our teenage son’s birthday at Guilford Sushi House, and it was absolutely perfect. We made a reservation ahead of time and were delighted when we arrived to be escorted to a private room with a traditional Japanese-style table. It instantly made the night feel special, and we loved the experience.
The service was truly outstanding: attentive, kind, and perfectly paced without ever feeling rushed. Our server made sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of, which made the evening even more enjoyable.
The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious across the board. We ordered their largest party platter along in addition to several extra pieces of Nigri. Our kids kept commenting on how good everything was as they ate.
This was a memorable and unique way to celebrate a birthday, and we’re so glad we came here. We’ll absolutely be back and would highly recommend it! Thank you!

Great little place to go.. Great customer service and great food.. what I like about this place is their service.. the young lady’s service was exceptional and definitely will come back again .

One of my favourite sushi restaurants! The quality is incredible! I really love their party trays selection and their “build your own combo” menu – it’s such a creative and unique option that I’ve never seen anywhere else.
Absolutely love their tatami rooms: celebrated my birthday there and it was a blast, highly recommend (book in advance though)

Delicious food, hot and fresh. Good portions and memorable flavour! Staff are very nice, constant refills of tea which i appreciate (tea is also very good). Cozy and nice atmosphere, lights aren’t bright and it’s just an enjoyable meal! thank you.

Came back to Guildford Sushi House and it was excellent again. I ordered the Fantastic Roll and the Sunset Roll — both were fresh, well balanced, and beautifully presented. The tuna tasted very fresh, and the jalapeño added a nice subtle kick without overpowering the flavors.
The rolls were served in a wooden boat with a dry ice effect, which made the presentation really fun. Service was excellent — friendly and attentive throughout.
Around $35 for both rolls, which felt like good value for the quality and experience. I’ll definitely be back.

The sushi here is not only beautifully presented but also very delicious, tastes fresh and full of flavor. The portions are generous too, which makes it such great value for the great quality you get. The inside of the restaurant feels so cozy and welcoming, and the customer service is amazing as well. You can tell the chefs put genuine care into every roll. Definitely my new favorite sushi spot.

Wow. I just paid $50 for rice and yams.. I’m thoroughly disappointed. This is the most rice compact sushi I’ve ever purchased in my life. There was no artificial crab in the dynamite roll just avocado. I mean I don’t know how this is so well rated maybe cuz it’s open so late. Third time I came I won’t be coming back.
I threw over 2/3 away. It was not good. If you like thick rice and no salmon, this is your spot.
