Placed a mobile order at 10:15am for curbside pickup today. I parked in one of the marked spots and sat there for 10 minutes, and got the notification that my bacon egg and cheese biscuit and hash brown was being made. Great, right?

After sitting there for 10 minutes, the app tells me that the spot I had parked at was invalid and to go up to the front counter. I noticed one of the curbside pickup employees walking back inside after handing another order off to another vehicle. When I ask her about it she shrugs and keeps walking.

Okay, fine whatever.

I head inside, and the lady at the counter was extremely rude when I showed her my app WITH the order still pulled up. She barely glances at the screen and tells me that they stop serving breakfast at 10:30am. It’s 10:31am at this point. I explain I had placed the order at 10:15am, which if she actually looked at the screen she would’ve seen that. Lovely.

She calls a manager(?) who explains that the new updated system doesn’t show them orders that have been placed ahead of time and that they never saw it.

1. I placed my order to be picked up immediately, I don’t even know if you can put in to pick up at a future time.

2. Other customers in other vehicles parked at the curbside pickup spots were getting their food, which you can only get IF you order ahead on the app (mind blowing, right? )

I ended up having to wait 10 minutes before my food and drink is in my hands. While standing in line, I hear the woman at the register – the SAME woman who told me they stop serving breakfast at 10:30am by the way – tell another customer that they stop serving breakfast at 11:00am. Which is it? It’s 10:40am by the time I get back in my car.

Obviously the lady up front was incredibly rude and unprofessional, as well as incompetent if she doesn’t even know when they stop serving breakfast.

A Great Experience at McDonald’s on South 4th Street in Leavenworth

It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten at McDonald’s, but this morning was a pleasant surprise. After finishing physical therapy and waiting for my ride, I decided to step inside Micky D’s on South 4th Street in Leavenworth, Kansas. It was cold and windy outside, but the restaurant was warm, clean, and welcoming.

I placed my order on the kiosk and then paid at the front counter. The woman at the register greeted me with genuine kindness. When I asked if I had enough left to add an apple pie to my order, she told me I was just about 18 cents short. I dug a little change out of my pocket, and she added it with a smile. That small moment of courtesy really stood out.

Now I’m sitting here enjoying my breakfast, grateful for the good service and warm atmosphere. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the McDonald’s in Leavenworth — they took great care of me today.

This was a great quick meal! There was no wait and the food came out hot and fast! The fries were a little too salty but still good. They even have a fun little area for kids! The place was clean and inviting!

This review is both about the food and a worker named Denise. As you can see in the picture my sandwich had an eggshell in it. Go to take it back and was met with the unpleasant attitude of Denise. She gave a replacement sandwich. To which i replied can I have my money back or a credit. She then proceeds to yell at me that I would not be getting my money back and ppl do this all the time. That’s fine but that’s no reason to yell at me or treat me like im trying to scam for 6 bucks. She then was like well you ate most of it. I ate up until I found the eggshell in it. I dont need another sandwich because im not hungry. Can’t help that I didn’t find it sooner. Additionally, i also asked about my monopoly pieces because they were not on any of my items. She then proceeds to walk off in the middle of me talking. When she comes back her tone is softer because she sees me speaking with the manager. The manager said she would talk to her but who knows. Denise has a nasty attitude I wouldn’t want her to be who my customers come in contact with especially first thing on the morning.

I don’t know why we keep trying this McDonald’s expecting different results. There is always something, but today takes the cake.

We ordered through the drive-thru. Pulled up to first window to pay. Sat there. And sat there. Nobody opened the window or acknowledged us so we pulled up to the next window…where they refused our payment. Would not take it. Told us we had to pull around and try again. So we sit in the drive-thru line again and finally pay at the first window, BUT when we pull up to the next window, after all of this, our food isn’t ready and we are told to pull around AGAIN. Our meal was missing items to boot! So frustrating.

Trying to reach the owner… is it possible to turn the heat on in the kids play place section during the winter season? It’s 11:30am on Saturday Jan 17th. Currently 15 degrees outside. When you turn the corner to enter the play area you are hit with a blast of frozen air. It’s miserable. The tile floor is frozen & the kids aren’t wearing shoes. My family adores this McDonalds. The playplace is a staple to the Leavenworth community. What do you recommend? Thank you.

I have made orders here a few times thinking maybe it was just the rush or not having enough staff. But this is the 4th time that my order was missing items, food was cold, and waited for almost an hour for food. This order was simple no alternatives, no special drinks, just four combo meals. We waited for 50 minutes for food. At first we were brought just our drinks without any food. Mind you, this was all paid for. Then had to come inside to talk to a manager to get our food, and finding out we ended up getting seven medium fries and all were cold. We got a refund, but i am not ordering at this establishment again.

No one in line fast order, workers were nice. Then sat waiting on our food for 42 mins. Then the people bring food out were confused about what car had what order..then asked us if we were sure about what we ordered, when they came by with an order. No pretty sure we ordered a Mcrib meal and cheese burger meal and not McChicken sandwich.

Sad..sad sad service after the order.

I waited 90 minutes for my food tonight. The lines were long, but even the whole ordering process and service was slow. I got to the window and they had me pull around because they were still making my meal. I waited an additional 30 minutes past the hour I waited in line. A manager finally came out and said they had forgotten about me somehow. I would’ve expected a free meal certificate, but got nothing in return for my wait.
Update: Very promptly after this review, McDonald’s corporate reached out to me and apologized for the situation. They passed my feedback on to the store and refunded my money. I’m very impressed with the response from corporate. It shows a deep willingness to make their patrons satisfied and to fix the root cause of the issue. Thank you McDonald’s for making this right!

Food was good. My only complaint was the girl at the front desk with the blue beanie was quite disrespectful and passive aggressive towards me over a misunderstanding. The drive thru employees and manager that came up to clarify for me was polite though.
