We’ve been on the hunt for the best food in Tallahassee, and I’d have to say that this dinner menu was delicious! They say that The Huntsman is some of Tallahassee’s best, but after trying the menu here, I’d say it’s so much better (and for way cheaper). The food was creative and innovative – pickled watermelon paired with Brussels sprouts, sweet tea brine, and miso in the Cesar salad – it’s been a while since I’ve had something as interesting. Shout out to Mackenzie for answering all my questions and being so attentive. I can’t wait to see what’s in next season!

This place definitely surprised my husband and I, in a very good way. We came for dinner, and we had the strawberry salad, the brussel sprouts, and the edison pasta. Everything was excellent, amazing experience all around. Food came in pretty fast! Rani was our server, and she was awesome! We will definitely be back.

What a beautiful restored building, the interior is just stunning, but we preferred to sit outside because its setting in the park and trail on a sunny day just makes it even better. Service was superb, the waitress even brought more powdered sugar for our beignets when she noticed the kitchen hadn’t put enough, without us asking! Have to love proactive servers. And everything we ordered for brunch was delicious, excellent southern cuisine.

I was with a large party and our server did a great job keeping up with all of our food and drink orders. It took a little while for everything to come out, but when it did it was amazing. From the cocktails to the dinner I really enjoyed my time at The Edison. The ambiance is amazing too! I would love to go back!

The salad was decent size but the grilled chicken was a bit dry. I don’t feel it was worth the price in the end. Customer service was great though. I wish they served a appetizer bread of some sort as well while waiting for the meal.

Situated in a fully refurbished historic building, this restaurant has it all; atmosphere, location, bar, outdoor seating, excellent customer service and absolutely amazing cuisine. The Yoder’s Fried Chicken entre is peak comfort food heaven! The fried green tomatoes and dinner salad with grilled chicken were excellent as well. Looking forward to come back here again next time we’re in Tallahassee!

Walked over to The Edison during one of the concert series for Cascades and had a moderate experience. The service wasn’t top notch but it wasn’t horrible. The buffalo chicken dip appetizer was good and my grilled pork chop was good. It wasn’t as juicy as I would’ve desired, slightly on the dry side and the putney wasn’t very thick to coat it. All in all, it wasn’t the worst meal and atmosphere but very in the middle which I don’t prefer for the higher price point. The best part was the view of Cascades and the city line as well as the live music from the amphitheater!

Mac was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we were seated, shewas fast, friendly, and incredibly personable. She made sure everything arrived quickly and checked in at just the right moments without being intrusive.
Her attentiveness really elevated the experience. She anticipated needs before we even had to ask and she kept the energy positive the entire time. Exceptional service like that doesn’t go unnoticed. Just like her nose chain!
If you visit, definitely ask for Mac because she makes the whole experience even better!
