I really enjoyed my lunch here. I dined alone and the staff were great, very helpful and kind. I had the shrimp rellenos and an orange juice. Everyone was fresh and well-made. And the lobby of the hotel which leads into the restaurant was also very comfortable. Also, very clean.

2025 review: Dined here twice in a 5 day time span. Beyond great both times. Their dorado cerviche is highly recommended. I had 2 different pulpo dishes that knocked my socks off. Very reasonable prices, good atmosphere and super attentive waiters. A step above many of the Ixtapa restaurants. 2026 Update: Still outstanding food and service. We are in Ixtapa for a month (2/17 through 3/17/26). Been to the Shark 3 times already trying new dishes from their extensive and inexpensive menu. Love this place.

I was very synical about this place, but it’s the best seafood restaurant I’ve been in Mexico so far. I ordered Mariscada Individual, and it was bomb. Everything on the plate was delicious, except the crab leg was underwhelming. It had no meat! But can’t complain. As the rest of the food was cooked to perfection.
My husband is not a fan of seafood and his fish taco was delicious. We ordered chicken nuggets for our kids (starter menu, our kids ate before going) and it was huge!
We will return, and it has become one of my favorite restaurants in Mexico!
