Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this Whataburger location. After placing a simple order, I was forced to wait far longer than reasonable—only to finally receive food that was both undercooked and cold. To make matters worse, when I brought this to the staff’s attention, the young woman claiming to be the “manager” handled the situation with rudeness and complete disregard for customer service. Her attitude was dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly insulting.
Whataburger has always been known for quality and hospitality, but this location is clearly the exception. Between the unacceptable wait times, poorly prepared food, and appalling management, this was the worst fast food experience I’ve had in years. Never again will I return to this establishment

This place is one of the most organised, clean, safe, burger places I’ve ever seen, and I’m not saying it’s the only one.
Delivery is provided, and curbside pickup has six spots at the front door.
Wheelchair assigned parking spots with a very wide entrance.
24-hour operation in addition to a drive-thru.
Ava, Taylor, and others were the graveyard shift heroes of this lovely dawn in BAYTOWN, TX.
This is a shout for them all as they were professional, polite, and attentive.

I always get the friendliest and most knowledgable service from Sylvia in the drive thru. She knows her regular customers by name! She always encourages up-sizing the sides and recommends a dessert. Whataburger absolutely deserves all five stars! The food was fresh, hot, and perfectly made — exactly what you hope for every time you stop by. But what really made my visit stand out was the incredible service from James. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was right, greeting everyone with a genuine smile and a great attitude. It’s rare to see someone care that much about their job, but James truly made the experience feel personal and welcoming.
If every Whataburger had a James, it’d be the best fast food chain on the planet. Highly recommend stopping by — great food, great atmosphere, and even better service!

Food was great but i put a one star due to their night shift, Val. Im not the type to write reviews but this employee really disturbed me. She was very impolite when i entered and clearly inexperienced when it comes to customer service. I understand not all days are great for some people but that needs to be left at the door once you clock into work. Terrible service from her!

Her smile lights up the whole room and makes your experience so much more tolerable during the dinner rush-hour in particular. There are so many homeless in this area and I have personally witnessed her being so kind and so patient with them. I’m there often and I tend to eat inside and I pay attention to things. She is definitely a great team member as she is always helping other team members and seems to have the potential to be a great leader in the company someday.
