Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This store and it’s service, A1. Some places are like family. Like Cheers, where everybody knows your name…lol. But breakfast options are amazing, and affordable, with quality at this Whataburger. I’ll drive miles, just for the comfort. Ms. Ruby, and Anette are the heart of this place and is always noticeable and helpful.

I came here very exhausted and hungry. I’m on meal preps and decided to get a chicken sandwich. I get to the drive thru and the voice across the intercom was so welcoming and excited. It cheered me up a bit. I drove around and went into the wrong lane. They hopped to it and checked on me. I apologized so bad tho lol. The wait was a little long and I got a medium instead of a large. But I don’t care they must have seen the distress on my face cause those women dropped me a apple pie in my bag the fries were so hot and fresh it burnt my hand ✋ . I love it here yall should go !!!!

I am writing to formally report an incident that occurred while I was picking up a delivery order at this location.

While waiting professionally and quietly for an order, a loud and racially offensive comment was spoken within the restaurant. The comment included a racial reference directed toward Black people and was said loudly enough that multiple employees and customers stopped and looked toward me, including staff coming out of the kitchen area.

I was extremely embarrassed and uncomfortable, but I remained calm and professional. I did not confront anyone at the time because I had already dealt with a very stressful week and simply wanted to complete my pickup and leave without escalation.

What made this situation more upsetting is that another Black customer entered the restaurant shortly after, and nothing was said to them. The incident was directed toward me specifically, which made me feel targeted and singled out.

I have been picking up orders in this area since 2024, including at this location, and I have never experienced anything like this before. This incident was shocking, humiliating, and completely unacceptable.

If there is audio and video footage available, I respectfully request that it be reviewed to confirm what occurred. The incident should be clearly visible and audible on your security system.

No customer or delivery driver should feel degraded, embarrassed, or targeted while simply doing their job.

Horrible service and they need to hire people with experience and not just anyone. I literally was told in the procedure they are only allowed to give 7 counted jalapeño slices per cup. I paid for 2 cups of jalapeños and only got 2 cup and the Hispanic manager guy had the nerve to tell me 7 per cup. Not to mention they have gotten my order wrong multiple times. Don’t go to this whataburger. West lake Houston: summerwood, 1960, Wilson are way better than this new ran whataburger.

This is my neighborhood WB and I always get a good service and don’t have any problems with my food! Always fresh and hot. Sometimes it’s a little busy but that’s not a problem for me I LOVE WHATABURGER

I’m hooked! I was not expecting this experience at WB. This is actually my first time inside a WB and it was very clean. My grilled chicken sandwich and Cobb salad were very delicious. Nice and warm. My chicken in the salad also warm! I wanted to cry happy tears since I forgot to ask to make the chicken warm on salad. The staff was also friendly and with great service.

Put an order in thorough uber eats for a Monterey melt sandwich and #2 double Whataburger meal. I never received the Monterey melt burger. The frozen were cold. Call to report the mistake and the manager didn’t care.

The breakfast is always the best if you are looking for food between 11pm and 11am. (2300-1100) It’s affordable and I haven’t found a single location that does a bad job. Overall it’s a perfect last resort.
