Friday ribs were excellent! Live band and some drinks can’t be beat. Huge selection of awesome beers and wine. Service was the best and it was super busy. Thank you for a great dinner getaway

We had a great, reasonably priced meal. My husband and I both ordered the steak with the smashed potatoes. I also had the Zuchini and he had the smoked jalapeño corn. All delicious! Our waitress was great at recommend ing craft beers. The music was good and we sat out back.

This is a must see place to understand the wonderful atmosphere and amazing staff here at the Handlebar. This is my to go place when im in Mesa Arizona.Great entertainment every weekend with a band playing. I was lucky enough to meet with THE JOKERS and get a Pic with them. So next time you’re in Apache Junction in Arizona stp on in and see for yourself. You most definitely won’t be disappointed

If I could give it more stars, I would. Family owned and operated. The staff made us feel at home, so very pleasant. Tanner explained that they grill or smoke everything and you can tell. The food was really good. They host some great events. One of these times we will have to come for Thursday tasting. I had the pizza burger and blue cheese potato salad. The burger was done exactly how I requested and the salad was perfectly balanced, not overpowering. My husband had the chicken panini and side salad. The chicken had a little spice and was delicious. The salad was a generous helping of greens with a light balsamic dressing. The Outlaw brew was really good. We asked Tanner for a recommendation and he picked it perfectly. Meeting the owners Candice and Denny were an added bonus. Oh, and the beer handlebars on the ceiling were priceless (Photo attached – sorry, we couldn’t wait to start eating).

Have many good experiences good food and service. BUT came in for lunch weekday afternoon. Few mins for someone to acknowledge was waiting for a seat. Another group came up after me. Server came over and said what will it be? Pepper with smoked pork. Side? Corn. To drink? Water.. no hello good afternoon. Just robotic. After 28 mins on an almost empty patio my food came served by another. She carrying big tray that was empty and just my plate. I started with corn ice cold. Then Pepper cold too cheese was already firm. I can only believe that the table after mine was served their food from the big tray first. After mine sat in kitchen on plastic plate. Server came back about 10 mins and said how is it. I said cold. Her response was you want me to yell at kitchen? No. You want me reheat it ? No I’ll take it home and heat it myself. 5 mins later Togo container and she said manager took off $ cause of food. 5$ discount was appreciated but I rather pay full price for hot food. The kitchen didn’t cook it cold the Server let it sit and get cold. Give them another try someday

Don’t get me wrong the food was amazing, but our server was so good at her job and the atmosphere was top notch ! Good portions for the price.. Beer is a little pricy, but craft beer is!! Beer menu was huge something for every taste !!! If u haven’t tried this place you should !!!

We came for lunch on a Thursday and had an awesome experience! Tanner was a fabulous server, while simultaneously managing the bar. He was welcoming, funny, and gave us good information about the menu and drink options! Tanner also let us know that they do not fry anything. Everything is either grilled or smoked!
They have a large selection of Arizona meads, something that I adore, and I chose to get Drinking Horn’s Blue Tooth mead. So good!
My husband and I ordered burgers. They were cooked wonderfully and we had a great lunch! I am gluten-free and was able to get a gluten-free bun. Can’t wait to come back.

We chose this Pub & Grill because their website shows 1. a good selection of beers (and they didn’t disappoint!!) 2. No deep-fried food – perfect. We arrived on Saturday 2pm, mid Jan 2026, decided to eat inside, was seated quick, nice tall table, bartender was great, took our drink order and brought us some Delicious Dark beer (our favorite). Waiter took our food order. After 30 minutes, bartender brought us salsa & chips (on the house) and apologized for our wait on food (we didn’t feel like it was a long wait). We ordered another round of drinks and food arrived shortly after. Food was good, cooked perfect, I chose the grilled summer squash with cinnamon for my side. We will be back (Drove up from North Tucson)

Today my friends and I visited the Handlebar and I cannot wait to come back. The food was excellent!!! I had the Pasilla (sp) pepper stuffed with tender smoked pulled pork that was delish! Megan was our server and she was excellent and FUN!. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food too and we had a great time hanging out there. We must sit outside next time as Tanner took me on a tour of the place and the patio with the fire pit tables are very cool. We all enjoyed the vibes here and we plan to return soon to try other dishes. Thank you for such great food and service.

Great local restaurant. Dog friendly as long as your dog is friendly. Food was good service was good. I would definitely recommend. They do get busy so plan ahead.
