Today was my first time at Marlow’s, I was in town visiting a friend from Orlando and we decided to come here for lunch. There was something wrong with the air-conditioning so we ended up sitting outside, which was fine because it was gorgeous out. The service in the beginning was a little slow, we probably sat out there for at least 10-15 minutes until somebody came out and greeted us and gave us water. Tim was our waiter and he was absolutely adorable. He was so kind and had a great attitude. A man came out and gave us a free bowl of house chips with blue cheese and bacon because it was my first time there. We ordered the steak flatbread and I had a French dip sandwich. My only complaint with this is the bread was not toasted. So the sandwich was a little saggy, but the flavor was very good. It was my friend‘s birthday, and they ended up bringing out a dessert for him as well free of charge. It was a very pleasant experience, and I am glad that we came!

Absolutely amazing. I cant recommend the pork tenderloin enough! Service was wonderful and the manager even brought us kettle chips to try since we had never been before. The food was amazing as where the drinks.

It was our first visit to this establishment and we were very pleased. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. The only possible drawback is the lighting is very low which might be an issue for some but for me it wasnt an issue.
Delicious food and great service, definitely recommend!

Phenomenal experience. Stopped in for dinner. First timer. Did not disappoint. Our waiter Jeremiah was the man!! Hooked us up with a free appetizer since it was our first time. Always had refills ready. Meal was absolutely delicious, great flavor, good presentation. Overall, felt very pleased with the food, quality, and experience.

Wandered in at random but was pleasantly surprised! The tavern vibe was great but the food was significantly elevated. We had the crab dip for an appetizer- bravo on the buttered saltine crackers! Entrees were the Brisket Grilled Cheese (with onion rings) and the Shrimp and Crab Louie – each delicious. The only demerit was given because the center of the crab dip was cold. This places deserves a revisit to try more dishes.

I decided to come here after seeing so many positive reviews, so it’s possible I just caught them on an off day. But for me, dining out isn’t only about the food , the overall experience matters too.

When I walked in, there wasn’t any clear direction on where to go, so I stood there awkwardly for about five minutes before someone finally seated me. My waitress was kind, but she never introduced herself, so I didn’t catch her name.

I ordered everything at once. The rice was good, but the onion rings were bland, which was disappointing because I love onion rings. I had the Pan Seared Chicken over rice. The portion of rice was so scant, and for the price, it was disappointing. The chicken was slightly undercooked and a bit pink, but I kept eating because I was hungry… and I’m definitely feeling that decision now. The cocktail also wasn’t very good.

Overall, the experience just didn’t meet my expectations. One positive note, the crème brûlée was delicious. No hate at all, this was simply my personal experience. I still encourage others to try it for themselves.

Marlow’s Tavern in Midtown is a consistently satisfying neighborhood spot that does exactly what a modern tavern should—serves elevated comfort food in a welcoming, stylish setting. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between upscale and relaxed, with cozy booths, communal tables, and a patio that’s great for sunny afternoons.

The food definitely delivers. Favorites like shrimp and grits—built on deep-fried white cheddar grit cakes—and Parmesan truffle fries stand out as inventive yet approachable tavern classics.
Service, even when busy, was quick and efficient—everything came on time, and the food tasted crisp and fresh. I’ve found the bar area particularly fun too; the bartenders are “great,” and it feels just right for a casual lunch, game day, or a relaxed evening out.

Every visit feels reliably good—welcoming, flavorful, and lively without trying too hard. If you’re looking for solid tavern food with a neighborhood atmosphere in Midtown, Marlow’s Tavern is a smart go-to.

The atmosphere was THICK.. LIKE HEAVY AIR .. GReat place for brunch . I had already eaten but I took a friend to eat so we decided on this place and it was a good bet. I had the duck egg rolls they were good but it just seemed like something was missing and I feel like they should have had a second sauce. My friend had the black and blue burger she said it was good I didn’t have any but it looked it good and had some of the seller with the raspberry vinaigrette on it that was pretty good too. And the bartender / waitress was very friendly.. with a plethora of whiskeys to choose from although I didn’t drink this is a place I would definitely recommend

For starters, I went on a Friday and our server Molly was chef’s kiss. Every single recommendation she made was a hit. We started with the asparagus fries—10/10. I had the Blackberry Buck craft cocktail (so good), and the Cabernet Sauvignon (can’t remember which one) and for dinner I went with the chicken panini, which was amazing. Literally every choice was Molly-approved and she did not miss.

The atmosphere was just right—dim lighting, subtle music in the background, and a really cozy vibe. This spot is perfect for a cute girls’ check-in or a date night with your boo
