Talk about an appetizing surprise. Restaurant in a gas station. Google mapped a breakfast spot not familiar with area. the menu had a good variety of options for everybody. Ordered the interstate breakfast with pancakes. My food and pancakes were flavorful and better then most places I’ve had. Dont let the outside appearance fool you. If I lived in the area I’d be a regular so recommend to anyone looking for a good bite to eat.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Likewise, don’t judge this restaurant by its gas station exterior.
We stopped here on our annual birthday trip on our way north. We chose it based on a check on Google Maps for restaurants on our route. At first, we wondered about the prices we saw in the menu photos but were pleasantly amazed to find that they were still accurate and very reasonable.
The most expensive item on our bill was the poutine appetizer and I had leftovers at the end of the meal.
The food is fantastic and the staff is awesome. Well worth your time to stop here.

I have never been disappointed with Petticoat Junction. Breakfast or Lunch.
Their fish and chips are REALLY good!
The service is great. Cozy and friendly small town feel.
The dining area can get full.
Great place. It is connected to a gas station. The bathrooms are always nice and clean.

Jury still out. Been there twice..1st time I swore I would never be back. But cicumstances dictated a return.
Much better but suspect. You shouldnt need a steak knife to cut pancakes, but my Omelet was good. We’ll try one more time…0

Stopped into this small, friendly truck stop tonight and decided to grab dinner at the counter.
Service was quick and friendly. The food was excellent both in taste and value. I had the half serving Country Skillet for dinner, and it was more than enough! Also, the best wheat toast.
Another thing: the staff here is having fun and it shows. I liked everything about the place and so stop again the next time I’m in the area.

This place was a nice surprise. Service was very good and so was the food. I had the smothered chicken and a piece of strawberry rhubarb pie. Both were very good. My husband had the hot roast beef and a piece of chocolate pie. He liked them both, and he isn’t easy to please with some dishes.

Good place to stop, very accommodating. I made sure I called ahead to verify they had what I needed, so she put it off to the side for me! Coming through here was a breathe of fresh air. Thank you! ( I believe she was the owner)

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The food is always amazing no matter what you get. There is usually a small line when you get here but it goes really fast and you get seated right away. The staff is amazing and very attentive. It doesn’t matter what you come here to eat the food is always cooked perfectly and delicious. They always have specials everyday on the big dry erase board. I would highly recommend Petticoat Junction to anyone.

I stopped this morning for breakfast around 10am only 2 women waiting on tables both were more into chit chatting with patrons that were already sitting and eating, took about 5 minutes for one of them to finally look at entrance and seat me, then she never checked back so I waved at the other waitress to come take my order abd was told it’s not here section and the other waitress might get upset, i just wanted to order so she my order, food was good but I think the American fries were a little overcooked, ham and cheese omelet was good and reasonably priced but the fries were overpriced. I might give it a second try another day but get pancakes instead, I wouldn’t recommend going here if you’re pressed for time.
