Great spot for upscale Mexican food in Lake Stevens. The atmosphere is welcoming, service is solid, and the food is consistently good. The steak and lobster specials are a highlight, and the full bar is a nice touch. Easy place to recommend for a relaxed dinner or a nicer night out without feeling over the top.

Called a week before and day of Valentine’s Day, and they said “Don’t do reservations”, Naturally we walked in to have dinner there and the very first thing that was said to us was “Do you have a reservation?”, and so I explained to the man behind the counter how I had called last week and day of Valentine’s Day with clarification from someone who worked there that they don’t do it. The man looked shocked and said something about how they “used to do it but not anymore” while stumbling with his words. I didn’t think too much of it and left my name and phone number down there for the waitlist, which the waitress said it’d be an hour wait. I agree’d to waiting that long and they said I would receive a call, so after confirming it I waited with my girlfriend around the area for an hour and a half with no call at all. Mind you, we arrived at 5 and waited until 6:30 until I gave up on the dinner plan there. The service there was absolutely horrendous, I think there’s a lack of communication on their side with them being unsure whether they took reservations or not and actually reaching out when to people on the waitlist. I’ve been here before for my birthday and the food is pretty decent, but if you plan to come after an event in Lake Stevens, or a holiday, then good luck.

The restaurant is next to the lake. We met some friends here and grabbed dinner. They have an adult and kid menu. The food was fantastic. I got a burger, and it was thick with flavor and juices. My husband got a steak with shrimp. The portion size is average. They do have to-go boxes if you want to order out or take leftovers home. They have a cool peak a boo window on the floor to see the lake. The day we went the water was very low, but an unexpected find. There is also an outdoor eating area with umbrellas. It was cold, windy, and rainy the day we went so we ate indoors. The patio area would be nice to enjoy in better weather. There is a parking lot in the front but could also park at the lake and walk over if full.

If in the area, it is a great place to grab a bite.

*Tasteless and soggy food and attitude from waiter*
My wife and I came in for dinner. Ordered coconut shrimp appetizer, chicken nachos, fish tacos and a Caesar salad.
5 minutes after food comes, waiter comes in and asks how is the food, we automatically say good as we haven’t touched anything but the nachos yet.

-The fish in the tacos were soft and flavorless and so was the cabbage with a touch of mayo. When I say these were the saddest, flavorless ANY taco we’ve ever had, I mean it. It came with black beans that were so salty if you threw it in a bathtub I could float in it. Then plain, and I mean PLAIN white rice.
-The Caesar salad had 4 croutons in it and was drenched in dollar store watery Caesar dressing.

I asked the waiter to come over and explained the situation politely. 7/8 of my Caesar was still there and 1 out of 3 tacos were there and all the beans and rice. She asked me to have a taco to confirm. (These are small) I told him everything without insults, not like I’m doing here.

He says: You should of told me the first time I came by, I said, you came by 5 minutes in and the food is still here, I don’t want anything free, I just want you to hear me. He says you said it was fine the first time I came by so… I said, I just want feedback for whoever it matters to and I don’t want anything free. He says well I appreciate that, and walks away. He takes our almost full plates away and then brings us a full bill. We paid and I reluctantly tipped. Arguing with us especially when we were being ridiculously nice is disgusting. I hope this isn’t directions from management to do this. He needs to learn how to treat people.

First time here. The food was well prepared and everything was delicious. Really enjoyed the baked shrimp- generous amounts of cheese. Excellent, attentive service as well. I didn’t eat the top bun of my burger and my server Jovany noticed this and he recommended if I come back to get a lettuce wrap substitute.

Will definitely return for dinner to try some of their steaks!

My husband and I have been coming here ever since we moved to lake Steven’s in 2020. It’s very close for us and it’s such a great place! The food is awesome, love the cocktails and we love the staff. We love that a date night can be literally down the street for us

We had a late lunch. I imagine this place is hopping for the regular lunch time. There were a few guest so it was not crowded.

We ordered the guacamole appetizer. It was dressed with feta and fresh cranberries. Served with large round corn tortilla chips. It was the best guacamole that I have ever had. Most guacamole has the overwhelming taste of cilantro. This one did not. The chips were good as well!

We also had the coconut shrimp appetizer with a citrus sauce. The sauce paired well with the shrimp. It was delicious.

We also ordered the Caesar Salad and the French onion soup combo. It was very good!

We chose to sit outside. The weather was glorious. The area is right on the side of the main street and it did at times get a little noisy but it was overall pleasant eating outside.

The restaurant appeared to be clean and organized! Our waitress was very nice and helpful with suggestion and answers to questions.

Just from the outside I was worried this place has a dress code so I walked in and immediately greeted by staff and asking how I am. I just survived a rear end crash at Carnation so this dinner time I am passing by on highway 9. Decided to not spending on fast food I drive all the way to city center.

I am by myself so I am fine sitting at their bar stool, actually tall chair to be specific. I briefly look at the menu and quickly determined my simple yet fulfilled dinner, a vegetable soup that is made in house and a halibut fish and chips. The bar turn around was really fantastic, there were 14 taps for beer if I wasn’t driving after I would have a pint already. My food was presented to me 8 min later, it was hot and fresh, I love the fact that their vegetable wasn’t fully cooked by it is in a hot soup and hot bowl so the remaining temperature of the bowl exchange heat with the vegetable and slowly cook it to desired temperature.

The fish and chip blow my mind how big a portion it is, 3 piece of halibut, really huge plate. Fries was cooked just enough to drizzle with salt and crisp enough to not feeling too dry.

The whole environment is so friendly, very family oriented yet you can have a regular post business meeting in there, it has sports playing on tv but no one is cheering. So much love to local diner places, always a good chance to come back again.
