Wonderful service by Clay and Riley when we were there. It was around 5pm and it was such a good time to have a quiet dinner with just one or two other patrons. Ribs were off the bones easily, flavored beautifully and not the crazy sweet kind. Brisket was perfect. Jalapeño and cheese sausage has a crunch to the skin. All in all a wonderful meal and a great place to bring friends and family who are visiting Texas for the first time to try Bbq

Terry’s Black’s BBQ was the perfect spot for my family. The BBQ was incredible. We ordered the brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage, and pork ribs along with plenty of sides, and everything was delicious. Ordering was easy, finding a table was simple, and the experience was smooth from start to finish. Huge thanks to Driss for being so welcoming and providing fast, friendly service. We even got to see some of the briskets in action in the smoker, which was a great touch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Texas BBQ.

Such a great meal! Definitely like this location better than Dallas. From the minute you walk to the entrance you see multiple smokers cooking the meat. You walk in and might be in line but it moves quick. The staff really knows their stuff and gives you portion recommendations. Sharon and Clay really have it there all. Clay notice it was just 3 of us and recommended 1-2 beef ribs an instead of the 3 we initially wanted. (This was great because we barely finished the 2). All the meats were seasoned to perfection and nothing was dry especially the turkey which I was bit hesitant but turned out to be yummy. Side again were really good, green beans were my fav. Even got some dessert and they were just what I expected sweet but not too heavy. I came around 12:30pm on a Sunday and there were plenty of seating. Staff was great at keeping the place tidy and ensuring a table was immediately cleaned. Even helping with getting to go utensils. Definitely will come again!

Exceptional BBQ. The ribs, brisket & spicy sausage were all amazing. The restaurant is very clean & organized & all of the sides were delicious, especially the green beans, sweet corn & Mac & cheese. The work staff was friendly & helpful. Shannon & Ish made our visit here feel very special. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door & asked if it was our first time. After finding out it was, they informed us on the portion sizes & gave us a few great recommendations. It’s a little pricey but you feel like you get your money’s worth.

Outstanding BBQ experience at Terry Black’s Barbecue in Fort Worth!
The service was excellent from start to finish — friendly, attentive, and very professional. The BBQ itself was absolutely phenomenal: perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy, and packed with amazing flavor. You can really tell that there’s a lot of passion and craftsmanship behind the food.
A special shout-out to the two staff members preparing and serving the meat. They were extremely kind, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything, which made the experience even better.
All in all, an outstanding visit. If you’re in Fort Worth and looking for authentic Texas BBQ, Terry Black’s Barbecue is an absolute must. Highly recommended!

The food is absolutely delicious! We got the family meal, which feeds 6. So much food, the creamy corn was my favorite, the Mac n cheese was a little watery for my liking, but good, and the potato salad was great!
The service is great! The outdoor worker is extremely attentive, friendly and goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. He come come by and offer to get what we needed, Wow he deserves this review. Would definitely be coming back here.

I’m grateful for finding this place on google maps! What a find, this is a MUST for a truly Texas style BBQ. The brisket was incredible, sausage was delicious and the beef rib (very very very expensive) but worth it for sure! As you can see we ordered plenty as the food looked so good, definitely a highlight of our trip. The service was also top notch. Super friendly guys and very helpful.
Certainly can’t wait to return. Thank you!!!

Went there to eat after arriving from Oklahoma City. I read the reviews and they were exceptional. We went to the one in Ft Worth. The sides were bland. the ribs were good, brisket was tough, bland, and dry. Bbq sauce was too thin not much flavor just sweet. We told the waitress and she agreed and said she addressed it with them prior. She encouraged us not to give up to come back for a better experience. She got the manager to replace our brisket with ribs. $95 for food and drinks bottled water and soda.

Update: Terry Black’s customer support is spot on. I appreciate their quick response to my issues. It says a lot about a business to fix things as quickly as they did and refunded me more than enough to cover the over payment. Thank you so much.
Took my son in to get some BBQ from Terry Black’s for the first time. I knew it was going to be expensive but I didn’t expect to get ripped off.
When you first walk in it’s extremely confusing and loud. Nobody greeted us and we had to navigate around the drink weave till we landed at the counter to order sides. Again the prices were ridiculous, $9.50 for a pint of green beans is insane.
While in line you’re fairly rushed through causing a more chaotic experience that ultimately makes you feel rushed and get more than you need. (Not a problem for the next day’s lunch)
Needless to say, after getting over to the register the bill popped up as $140+ then asked me if I wanted to tip $30+ haha. I tipped $10 because out of everyone the busboy was a legend and took the best care of people that I could see.
When we arrived at our table, it was shaking and lopsided. For $150, you should be able to sit at a table without issue.
The FOOD was absolutely amazing and makes it harder to complain about the experience but to be honest I got my paper receipt and was looking at it this morning thinking that was extremely high for what we got, I noticed I was charged for “Beef Ribs” ($39.48lb) instead of the “Pork Ribs” ($32.48lb) that I received and they added a water that I caught and ended up grabbing but never noticed the rib charge till today.
It seems a bit overpriced and underserved for what you pay, but the food was great.

I usually find the ordering process at BBQ places a little intimidating, so always a little nervous to try a new place. Fortunately, I beat the evening rush by arriving at 5:30pm Friday. I was greeted upon walk-in and the process was explained.
I had sliced brisket, potato salad, coleslaw, and banana pudding.Portion sizes of the sides were generous (I couldn’t finish them).
Meat is ordered by the pound. This was hands down the BEST brisket I have ever had. BBQ sauce (3 flavors are on each table) was really great also. I’d rank the sides as good but not great. Would get the banana pudding again for sure. (BTW 2 sides, 1/2″ lb brisket, dessert + soda was approx. $40).
If you’re comparing BBQ spots, or just looking for a great casual spot to eat in this part of town, Terry Black’s is your best choice! Come hungry!
