Wow, an amazing restaurant in Belgrade! We knew we will eat great food here but the Angry Monk was definitely the highlight. Everything we tried was super fresh and the Beef Ramen was exceptional, the starter dishes like the Giouza were out of this world and we will definitely come again as the service was also great (they even take your coat at the entrance) the owner also comes from the holy land (like me) which is a huge plus by itself, we didn’t know that but found out when the waiter told us! This restaurant will always be on our list during future trips to Belgrade.

As someone who loves different cultures, it’s so nice to find a little piece of Asian cuisine right in the middle of Serbia. The restaurant has signature cocktails served in really cool, creative glasses (one even came in a broken egg)
Big highlight goes to the dessert: Kyoto Dream. Seriously, a small piece of heaven tasting like a explosion of orange and cardamom flavour
All the waiters are especially friendly and make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The whole experience is totally worth it, and I highly recommend checking it out.

Update ‼️ For anyone who may have read my previous review, the happy hour policy has changed and is now from 16:00 to 18:00.
Once again, the food was delicious. We ordered the Drunken Noodles with beef, which was incredibly tender, the Tom Kha Goong (Thai coconut soup with rice noodles, slightly sweet and tangy), and the Brûlée in Bloom with vanilla and crispy phyllo, along with tea.
I didn’t expect anything less, and I can already tell this will be my favorite spot every time I find myself in Belgrade. Our waitress, Jovana, was informative and very helpful, which made the experience even better.

A fantastic restaurant — the food is incredibly delicious and the service is top-notch. The design is cool and stylish, creating a very atmospheric vibe. Definitely a place worth visiting! The sushi is outstanding, with a unique, signature twist — I especially loved the Rock’n’Roll and Crunch rolls. The cocktails are great too, beautifully presented and full of flavor. Highly recommended — I’d come back again for sure!

Found this gem of a place while searching for change in palate around the city center. The name intrigued us and as we enter the place we were delighted by the atmosphere and the welcoming attitude of the staff. Opted for the Indonesian Beef (Rendang) Tom Kah Goong and Shrimp Tempura Sushi. Jovanna was so nice and friendly who found time to exchange pleasantries (did a fantastic job explaining the story behind the name of the restaurant) and made some other recommendations. Food was phenomenal. We loved it. Then came dessert time – I had something else in mind but Alexander recommended their Creme Brûlée and glad we took his advice. It was amazing – never tasted creme brûlée like this before. You have to taste and experience it. Don’t miss it. See the proof in pictures. Too bad it was our last day otherwise we would have returned for another meal or two! We were very satisfied. Great place. Great food. Superb staff!

I arrived in Belgrad for the first time and we chose this restaurant to start with, we arrived around 19:25 without reservation and they said they don’t have any space in the entire place but it was 80% empty … only 3-4 tables were taken, all the rest empty, I insisted if they got a table and they said they got 1 table for 1 hour because is gona be full soon. After they said we can stay at the bar.. no problem. We stayed at the bar ordered the started and after the main(big sushi plate) , we were still at the half of eating the starter and when the waiter came with the big plate in the small bar place the wine got split on the table because of no space for all of that + we didn’t finished the starter yet:)) the waiter cleaned and wine and all after she realized she had to wait for us to finish the starter so she cam come with the rest, but the half of the wine was already byebye on the table and it wasn’t completed after as a sorry. Anyway. We left at 21:00 and the restaurant was still empty. Only 2 more people came since we were there , I understand you have priority for reservations but in this case.. 80% of the restaurant was empty how would have been full in the next hour? Overall the food was good, fresh, the place is fancy , good looking and clean, but the service…..
