My daughter and I visited hear on a slow, about to be stormy Sunday. I loved that they had grilled and blackened options for most of their dishes. I had the special fish which was a sheepshead, blackened and it was delicious, not too spicy, just right. Server was friendly, helpful, and treated us like we were regulars. I thought the price was reasonable for seafood. Definitely would go back.

We checked out this restaurant based on the recommendation that it was dog friendly. They did have accommodations outside for dogs on a high top seating. It would’ve been a fantastic set up if it had been about 20° warmer. The staff were all friendly and our server Hayden went above and beyond to ask if our dog needed water and was efficient and friendly and extremely welcoming. The hubby ordered a double burger and said it was juicy and tasty. I had to pick two and selected blackened and grilled shrimp. We also had the old bay shrimp as an appetizer. All three different types of shrimp were extremely tasty and cooked very well. The fries came out hot and fresh which is always a bonus. They also offer dollar oysters on Monday. These are offered raw and need to be ordered a dozen at a time. We would definitely come back with our dog, especially if Hayden was our server!

This seafood was fresh and delicious!! This will definitely be a return spot for us when we come back to Jacksonville! We got the fried pickles (mouth watering), the shrimp and scallops were tender and juicy. For my no seafood danger, the chicken tenders! Fried to perfection!!

The drinks that the server/waitress/bartender name Kim made were tasty. Big thanks to Kim for having great service. She was very friendly and nice. She was also very knowledgeable of the menu and of the facility and all that it has to offer. She helped make some great suggestions and recommendations. We loved the upstairs bar area. The views are nice. Clean facility and restrooms! Will visit again if ever in Jacksonville Beach area!

This place is awesome!!!!! The alligator was beyond perfect. As good as the Gator was the stuffed crab was even better. Best stuffed crab that we have ever had. We tried the Captains platter, and it did not disapoint. The fish, clam, calamari, shrimp, hushpuppies, were all just perfect. Staff was wonderful. Hands down our favorite place in the Jacksonville beach. Thank you for such a fun night.

Great little place with a casual vibe and lots of seafood options. We went for lunch. We started with fried pickles (yum!). The special was Trigger fish and we opted for the sandwich (versus served as tacos or a wrap) and grilled (other options were blackened or fried). The fish was a huge portion (at least 8 oz) that’s not obvious in the photos. Each main dish came with 2 hush puppies—we’d never had those. The crinkle-cut fries were meh. We also got diver scallops that were large and excellent, cooked perfectly, not overdone, seasoned well, with lots of lemon wedges, and very inexpensive. The server brought out so many chilled sauces, from ketchup to cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, as well as remoulades/aioli’s. Beer/wine only. The restaurant is upstairs without any obvious wheelchair access.

Very yummy seafood boil!!! The most crab in the boil we had during the entire time on JAX beach over multiple seafood boils!! I should have asked if they had flavors like Cajun or garlic. Gator tail was good. Service was southern hospitality at it finest the gals were so sweet to our family and didn’t rush us out at closing.

We had a wonderful experience at Beachside Seafood. We had seafood quesadilla, cherry bomb, seafood burrito, french fries, and crawfish. You can really taste the freshness of the seafood. The sauces were all amazing too. Excited for the new owners’ plans for the restaurant and market!
