It’s in the university area and definitely caters to the University crowd, but that’s great.
We ordered two baos each and they were huge! We also ordered the duck potein and they added kimchi to it.
It was around Christmas and they were also giving out free hot chocolate.
The location is cool because you walk downstairs to enter and it’s half above ground.
The ambiance was okay, kind of industrial but more of a university catered vibe – very casual.
First time the food was good all three Bao
Chicken buffalo, chicken Kastu and pulled pork were good
Next time they were bad chicken kastu was rubbery and the beef was chewy
With the amount they charge I expected slightly higher quality for sure
May try another time just for the final verdict
I got two baos – the pork belly and chicken katsu – and my husband got the one bao combo with the Seoul beef bao, small fries, and drink. All the baos were incredibly delicious and very generous sizes. The fries were a bit on the salty side, but it was quite a big portion for being labelled “small.”
I look forward to going back and trying the other baos on their menu!
My main concern was how dirty it was inside. Years of dirt never cleaned. If it looks like that in their dining area im sure their kitchen is disgusting. Won’t be coming back
The staff was friendly, though it was really difficult to find the restaurant. Overall, not likely to return considering its quality and price.
Took down their number and will be using them to hopefully cater in the future.
Highly recommend to at least try these guys out.
One of the best iced coffee I ever had
5 spice belly bao was immaculately flavoured. Katsu bao was great as well with a minor hiccup – chicken was fried perfectly but it was a little too saucy and the sauce was a little too sweet. Sweet potato fries were slightly overcooked but were still good.
Nice ambience, friendly staff, and overall a good place to eat!
