This isn’t out of pettiness. Apparently others have had the same experience with an older lady. I usually have a good experience all the time around everywhere and I leave good reviews (Check my history) but this is the first time ive ever had a bad experience amywhere. Let me preface this by saying that the Headphones that all the employees at mcdonalds can hear everything thats going on in the drive thru, this is important towards the end of the story.
Drive-Thru
I ordered 3 Cheesebugers and 2 Spicy McCrispys and SPECIFICALLY asked to add Pickles and Onions. The screen usually updates with the operators controls as well and saw that he didnt add the onions or pickles so I mentioned it again and told him that’ll complete my order, he says “Next window”. I pull up to the window and he asks “Hey, youre the one with the 3 cheese burgers and 2 mc crispys?” And I politely corrected him “Yes, with added pickles and slivered onions?” And he nods his head. I pay for it and receipt says Add shredded lettuce. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought that was routine for add-ons.
Next window the lady gives the food to me, I check, and it has lettuce with none of my add ons. I mentioned it and told her that I mentioned it to the guy before I paid. I give it back, she apologizes, and she asks me to confirm what the add ons were. “Slivered onions and Add pickles” I tell the lady, and she was nice enough to ask if I still want the lettuce and I told her “I would like the Lettuce removed”. She acknowledges. 2 minutes later, she comes back and gives it to me again and she asks for me to confirm everything on the sandwich. I open it, It STILL has lettuce, she apologizes again and gets her Older Supervisor who then walks up to the window saying “You wanted no lettuce??” I responded “I never wanted lettuce.”, she responds “Then why did you order lettuce?”, I respond “I NEVER ordered lettuce! I specifically confirmed it 3 TIMES with the guy at the drive thru AND payment window. I guarantee you that All 3 of you who have headphones on HEARD that I specifically mentioned Pickles and Onions”. She walks away and they get my food corrected for the 3rd time of playing Musical Sandwiches.
And here’s the best part, the supervisor tried to gaslight me, she heard me initially order my add ons but had the audacity to say that I ordered lettuce. This is literally my usual, If I wanted lettuce, I would’ve just ordered the Spicy Mccrispy Deluxe. Make it make sense…
The situation got worse when I spoke to the manager (I believe her name was Coralita). She was incredibly dismissive, rude, and defensive. She refused to give me a cash refund—which other managers have done in the past—claiming it would ‘come out of her pocket.’ Instead, I had to wait while she spent 5 minutes figuring out a workaround to refund my card, which ended up being 11 cents short (which she then handed me the 11 cents in cash).
I returned after my shift because the card refund hadn’t processed yet, and I simply wanted the product I paid for or my cash back immediately. She was condescending, refused to help, and offered zero solutions. I am now out of money, wasted my time, and was late to work. This manager lacks basic customer service skills and professionalism. Trash franchise and would never ever come back here.
Very comfortable place.
But the staff is not pay too much attention.
