There is plenty of parking. The place is clean and bright with a homestyle-kitchen feel. I was greeted and seated promptly. There is lots of seating, a bar with about 8 seats, and they have accommodation for larger families. My server Daena was a delight. She kept my tea full and checked on me often. My salad was crisp and fresh and my meal arrived shortly after. The servings were plentiful and it all tasted great. Checkout was at the table. The restroom was very clean. I plan to return the next time I am in town.

I had the seafood grill. Catfish and shrimp brochette was delicious. Fried pickles were good also. My husband had the gumbo. He said it was really good too. For a Saturday night we were seated fast and our food was quick.

Just stopped by Clear Springs Restaurant on 191 in Midland and had a solid meal. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was cooked perfectly — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and smothered in a flavorful gravy. The portion was generous, and it definitely hit the comfort-food spot.
The service was friendly and welcoming, making it feel like a classic country diner where locals like to gather. It was a little busy, so the food took a few minutes longer than I expected, but it was worth the wait.

Id give 4.5. got fried mushrooms=the best I’ve had in a long time, Garlic mashed potatoes=good,Sweet corn=good,,,, chicken fried steak= wish I had picked something else cuz it wasn’t very good..don’t get me wrong it was ok enough just with everything else being so good it was a let down. The staff is friendly and the establishment is interesting.

Absolutely, I will elaborate. I came in during lunchtime and the service was very good — attentive and friendly.
However, the food itself missed the mark. I ordered a salad before my meal and noticed some lettuce that appeared borderline expired with brown leaves.
For my entrée, I ordered a sirloin with broccoli and beans, but received corn instead of beans, which I chose not to complain about.
The bigger issue was that both the broccoli and the steak were extremely bland, with no noticeable seasoning.
I ended up using Heinz 57 on the steak, and I’ve always felt that if a steak requires sauce, it isn’t worth the price.
Overall, good service, but food quality and execution need improvement.

Went last night & my hush puppies were straight up raw!!! I let them know asked for different ones and the second ones were once again RAW. They proceeded to then give me charred hard ones as if they were upset that I didn’t want to eat dough.

The food atmosphere is awesome! The restaurant is very well decorated and open. The food is really good and reasonably priced with large portions for the money. Good happy hour specials. The staff is very friendly coupled with fast service. I will be a repeat customer.

Had a local business refer us to Clear Springs Restaurant and I’m so glad he did. I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos. They were perfect! Was worried I’d be disappointed with a bunch of coleslaw juice making the tortillas soggy like most places but I wasn’t-like I said…perfect! Nice waitress and clean place!
