I went the other day for the first time & the food was fresh and delicious. My server Kandace was attentive, informative, friendly and personal. The GM also came & introduced himself, because he was informed that it was my first visit.

I ordered a bottle of wine because of the Wednesday specials and it was the perfect temperature & a nice smooth blend. I will definitely be going back for happy hour with my girls.

I ordered the spinach dip, pasta sterling and tres leches. There’s also live music on Wednesday evenings (reservations suggested).

My wife and I visited for lunch while my sister-in-law was in town, and we were very impressed. We showed up around 1 PM on a Tuesday and the place was packed — a good sign — but we got seated without too much delay. The food was hot, flavorful, and served in generous portions, more than enough for one meal. Service was friendly and attentive the entire time, which really made the experience. Parking is a little tight, but on a weekday it wasn’t a major issue. If you’re looking for a spot that serves hearty, home-cooked meals with great service — I highly recommend this place.

We’re from Rochester, NY and were in town for a cruise, with The Woodlands being our last stop before heading home. We stopped in for dinner and were so impressed. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were generous.

Our waiter, Josh, was spectacular — incredibly attentive, full of great recommendations, and somehow always there before we even needed anything. Our drinks were refilled before they were empty (and we never had to ask), which really stood out.

If we’re ever back in The Woodlands, we’ll absolutely be back!

Every Bite Is Amazing ! This is our first visit on our 31st wedding anniversary and it won’t be our last. We were greeted and seated immediately. Sam, our Republic Grille team member, is awesome. She made our visit wonderful. We started with spinach artichoke dip. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and black eyed peas. My wife had the chicken piccata and banana pudding for dessert. You will love it !!!

First time & Taryn was so lovely. She recommended several items & was very informative on everything with the menu. The food was exceptional! We ordered the chicken fried steak w/ mashed potatoes & bacon mac-n-cheese (the Mac was to due for). I also ordered the shrimp & grits, also delicious. We’ll certainly be back when we’re in the area.

We were immediately greeted with the hostess opening the door. Ppl don’t think that’s a great touch but it really is. No wait, as they just opened. Energetic greeting from Josh, very personalable; wanted to know your likes, dislikes, and allergies. Josh spoke about the special, stuffed porkchop with cheese and spinach topped with a mushroom cream gravy that came with two side along with two desserts specials.

Josh helped me decide on my drink options, which was nice. He was very involved. Food came out perfectly, I ordered the stuffed porkchop with sweet potato cakes along with vegetables. The sweet potato cakes tasted like a dessert, made my husband try them and loved them(he doesn’t like sweet potatoes). Husband got CFS, gravy was delicious and his two sides were Mac and
black eyed peas. Both sides were so amazing, made me rethink how I make mine.

This was by far the BEST Saturday night dinner experience my husband and I have had while eating out ever! The food was amazing, all of it and our waiter, DJ, was incredible! He was personable and knowledgeable of the menu and specials, kept the table clean, drinks topped off and got the orders perfect. The employees were very kind and the environment was perfect. Everything we ordered was hot, cooked perfectly and delicious. Will definitely be going back and requesting DJ as our waiter!

We have never had a bad meal at any of the locations, but this is my favorite location. Our server tonight was amazing and the food was fantastic as always. We ordered one kids meal for my two toddlers to split and they had left overs. The portion for the price was very generous and I would say that about all of the dishes. The standout was the chicken and rice soup and the Woodlands Chicken dish.

Over priced for mid food. $31 bucks for their special of the day stuffed porkchop which is just thr trg porkchop but topped with mushrooms. Nothing exciting or flavorful about it. I could’ve swore their cfs was a lot bigger. Got mostly breaded pieces. The spinach artichoke dip was delicious though the little toasted bread pieces are tasty.

Food is fantastic. Mussels and gumbo are 10/10. The bartender Carlos was attentive and provided great service and hospitality. He wasn’t just an order taker he featured their special in the beginning. As a restaurant owner myself this is what you want from your staff.
