Waterman’s Seafood in Ocean City was a solid experience. The crabs were fresh and full of flavor, and the fish and chips were actually really good. The service was a bit slow, but it was during a busy time so it was understandable. Overall, good food and worth checking out if you’re in the area.

This was my first returning to Waterman’s Seafood in Ocean City, MD since last summer and so much has changed in less than a year. Today, I waited over 45 mins for my food and there were only 4 people total in the resturant including myself. I paid $5 additional to add crab meat in the crab dip which still had more cheese than crab meat and the $25 crab cake was the same size as a dipping cup, which use to be as big as the bun (if you get the sandwich).
This wasn’t worth $78 dollars but I will say the owner Jessica is intentionally about improving customer experiences and reached out immediately for a remedy. I appreciate that Jessica did a thorough job looking into what went wrong systematically and has corrected the mishap. I’ll give them one more try and will update my review with more or less stars depending on my next experience.

Went for my birthday lunch, it was our first visit here. Won’t be our last! The lunch specials were amazing, and it’s been a long time since I’ve seen lobster with shrimp for under $30! Our waitress was so sweet. She took great care of us and seemed genuinely happy. Good sweet tea, and great calamari! Loved the lemon aioli.

Had to write a review asap because this food is FANTASTIC. I got the shrimp & scallop risotto and THAT is the dish to get! It was so creamy and delicious! Arguably the best one I ever had. We also enjoyed the crab, they were so juicy!

Such a wonderful place to have dinner. 2025 bike week was my first time eating here. I had the crab and lobster with the choice of 2 sides. As well as one of their signature martinis and caviar as an appetizer. The food was fresh and delicious. Our waitress Gracie was very kind and checked on us regularly to make sure all our needs were met. This will be a new spot in our family every time we visit ocean city maryland. Definitely give this place 5 stars!!

The food is always very good and fresh. It was FREEZING inside the restaurant though. We were moved and it was better but still pretty cold. Service was very good and everyone was very kind and helpful. We come almost every time we visit the OC area. I love the crab leg platter! Great bang for your buck for sure!

Finally got around to checking this place out. There was a great special that day and I got a a boiled seafood combo. I don’t usually like lobster, but since that was included I thought I’d give it a try and this was so delicious that I can’t wait to try more! Everything was perfectly cooked and the service was fantastic. They also had one of my favorite dark beers in a can which was a nice bonus.

I really enjoyed everything! I got the original feast mainly for the all you can eat blue crabs and it was so much food! I was able to take home what we didn’t finish and it was still good the next day! I looked up instructions on how to reheat steamed crabs! The best result I got was leaving them in the brown bag and heat in the microwave. It didn’t over cook them! I would say 4 to 5 minutes for 5 crabs and muah! Deliciousness!

We usually end our vacation by eating at Waterman’s on our way out of Ocean City. Just because it’s not on the main island doesn’t mean it isn’t busy. Any evening around dinner time, you will almost certainly have to wait. That being said the food is wonderful and the staff, even though very busy were all very nice and super helpful. The prices are reasonable especially for a Jumbo kids grilled cheese and some delicious fish tacos. I absolutely recommend going and will continue to pop over.

Visit here in off season to enjoy the food and ocean without the crowd. December visit went well. Quiet and served quickly. Tables are large and most can seat about 10. We enjoyed most talking with employees, the greater mainly and our server. Will return soon, drawn in more for the welcome feeling than food, which is fine, but when employees make you feel at home it makes this site a comfort zone.
