What a hidden gem in Sterling VA; a diner offering a complete variety of breakfast choices, in a comfortable setting.
We had breakfast here on a Saturday morning, it was busy and we waited about 15 minutes. ( go on a weekday if you can)
Service was attentive and cordial.
The Grilled Biscuits were YUMMY.
My Chocolate Chip Pancakes were cooked to perfection, soft in the inside with a bit of crunchy edges, and with the melted chocolate chips made this selection a winner. The bacon was crispy, and the Poached Eggs, cooked as ordered.
We had a pleasant dining experience, and we will definitely patronize this establishment again.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting home and what a pleasant surprise and absolute delight! The food was delicious, the staff are very kind and quick to handle your needs, and the place is charged with electric energy! It was full of people that I assume are regulars because everyone knew their name. If you have the chance and are looking for a solid breakfast/ lunch place… this is where you want to go! I’ll be back next time I’m up here visiting, no doubt!

Stopped at Joe’s Cafe after seeing the amazing reviews, and I instantly understood why! From the moment I walked up, the staff was friendly and welcoming even greeting regulars by name. I sat at the bar and had excellent service from a sweet, attentive server who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere is warm and family like I even got to witness them celebrating a coworker’s birthday with cake and singing. The chicken fried steak was incredible, with homemade gravy full of fresh sausage. A true local gem and a must stop if you’re in the area!

Overall a pleasant experience. The service was welcoming and friendly. The food was served under 10 minutes despite them being pretty busy which was nice. There was also an older gentleman that was walking around and greeting everyone and asking how they were doing. He was really brightening the place up and general atmosphere was great. The food itself was delicious as well. I really enjoyed the fluffy bun with the crispy fries. The burger came with a sauce that added flavours but it was not overpowering the other ingredients which was great. I also really liked the mushrooms, it added to the depth of the burger and kept it from being dry which was great. For only around 11$ after tax, you get to enjoy a tasty burger and a filling plate of fries as well. The portions were definitely quite generous for the price.

I looked up Joe’s Diner using Google. We love breakfast and it had great reviews. We sat at the counter to avoid the wait. We just didn’t realize how awesome the food was here. The Eggs were fantastic and fluffy, the home fries came with a little onion, were great and they provided really good portions. We requested bacon which was crispy and very tasty. If you’re looking for ambiance this is not the place. If you are looking for great breakfast (many options) in a down to earth environment, this is it.

This is by far the best diner around. There is a very inviting and at home atmosphere. Everything on the menu is delicious, my favorite is the huevos rancheros.
