Had a great time at Applebee’s with my wife and a friend! The service was friendly and quick, our server made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The food came out hot and fresh; the appetizers were on point, and the entrees were even better. Definitely a comfortable spot to relax, catch up, and enjoy a good meal without breaking the bank. We’ll definitely be back!

Was there yesterday, only giving 5 stars because out server Kyle, was great! That was the only thing great, Kyle took care of every guest in this restaurant no help from anyone, took almost 30 mins to get our mozzarella sticks, then over 30 mins. To receive our entrees, and then there was Kyle making sure out glasses were full at all times and checking on all other guests, the cleanliness of this place was absolutely disgusting, sticky menus, sticky tables, you could see filth all over the walls, the window looking into the kitchen had grime and food splatter all over it, probably hasn’t been clean in months, my son wanted to leave because it was so dirty, when it was time to leave, I received my bill, (I should have looked at it first before giving my card) it was not correct I received somebody else’s ticket, which didn’t make me upset seeing that Kyle was taking care of everyone so I can see how there was a mishap definitely accidental, here is where is gets even more gross, a lady comes out to explain my money would be back on my card in 72 hrs. Fine cool whatever, I’m assuming this was the manager wearing a tshirt that was to small and to tight and her belly was hanging out and showing bare skin all in my son’s face it was disgusting and very un professional, I understand now why Applebee’s are closing all over, the food was not even mid, mashed potatoes ice cold I even wanted Kyle to touch them to see for himself, my son’s burger burnt, shrimp over cooked to the pint they were crunchy, over all worse restaurant in Gladstone, the health inspector needs to shut this place down, I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like, Kyle if you read this, I hope you get a better job somewhere try 54th Street and leave that sinking ship! You were a great server and the only positive experience being in that place!

We enjoy a quick dinner on a Thursday night. We were seated quickly and immediately greeted for our drink orders and food. For appetizer we got the spinach artichoke, came out quick and hot, flavor was a bit bland but overall good. We ordered the perfect margarita shaker and they were so good! Great flavor for the margarita. It poured about 2 1/2 glasses. We both ordered the grilled bourbon chicken with mashed potatoes and sautés onions and mushrooms. Came out sizzling hot and flavorful.

I decided to take my 9yr old son and wife here for his birthday. Well the food wait time was 25 minutes late when a new server took our food to the next table over. After they stuck their nose in it she brought it to our table. It was cold in the Inside I requested a .gr by a employee. A guy came with a hat on asking could he replace our food.I said yes because I am doing a review for Google and I would like to give you a chance. He replied I’m not going to be intimidated by anyone I don’t care who you are. I said fine I will just pay for what my wife and child ate. I paid my bill and left. So for the Mgmnt here it is. I hope tourists don’t get treatment like this. This is how the server brought my silverware also after the food

I just love Applebee’s! They have such great specials, too- lunch specials, Happy Hour specials, drink specials, 2 for 25 Specials. And the mozzarella sticks are the best! Kid menus are terrific. Lots of tvs to watch sports. It’s got to be, Applebee’s!

Me and a friend stopped for dinner. Seemed fairly busy, but there was a lot of empty tables. Not sure if short on staff or what. Staff checking customers in were a little disorganized from watching & listening to them. Was finally seated about 10-15 min after arrival.
Waitress was friendly and order was placed shortly after drinks were brought. Sat there for quite some time, even though order wasn’t anything major (burger & steak). Weird thing was, saw a group of people that were seated a bit after us, who’s food arrived at their table 10 min or so befor ours. I noticed one person in the group had a steak as well.
I can understand if an establishment is busy or short on staff and the wait is a little longer. Just hard not to be bothered when people seated & ordering after us, have their food first, especially when at least one item was the same. Maybe our waitress didn’t get our order put in quickly, after she took it from us? Food was good, even if wait was longer than it should have been.

Wife and I went out for a date and got sat next to a group of 15 when there was plenty of space for us to go away from the chaos. We figure out what we wanted a 2 for 25 meal pickle fries as an appetizer and drinks literally everything the same. Very easy order. We get our drinks and then 10 minutes later our salads with our 2-25 meal. Still waiting for the pickle fries. I had to ask the server 3 times for a refill. He finally gets back and says he’s gonna grab our food it’s almost done. We ask about our pickle fries and he said he doesn’t know what happened but the wife and I are guessing he didn’t put the order in. Finally after 15 minutes of waiting for a refill the manager had to come and drop my drink off, And get one for my wife aswell. At this point we was ready to leave but the wife wanted to get an apple pie to go. Asked for the pie and gave him my card. It took 10 minutes to get my card back and then an extra 20 minutes for the piece of pie. The server had 5 tables he had to deal with and we was the 3rd table he had. Tables 4 and 5 got sat several minutes after us and they left several minutes before us, getting their stuff first. This Was a horrible experience and one of the wife’s and I worst dates we’ve had. And to top it all off when we got home the wife said her pie had no Carmel in her Carmel apple pie. And 2 bites in pulled a giant black hair out of her mouth and my wife has red hair. We haven’t liked this place in the past and hadn’t went in years but the “o m cheeseburger” looked too good to pass up, a burger in a gooey yellow cheese? Looks like nacho cheese? We are there! But HA! What we got was a spoon full of some type of SWEET white cheese it was nothing like it showed we can honestly say we will NEVER go here again.

Worst experience ever here. Show up a little after 6 not super busy but steady. I had to wait several minutes before I was acknowledged and then another several minutes to be seated about 10 minutes. The host goes to sit us and takes us to a high top. We sit and wait to be greeted. We’re Finally greeted and order our drinks and the 2 for $25. We never received our appetizer I watched it get given to someone at the bar who didn’t even order food. After waiting almost 40 minutes our food comes out still no appetizer and not even what I ordered. The service was terrible and no apology or acknowledgement of the mistakes and lack of service. Had there been an apology and acknowledgement of the poor service and my appetizer being given away I could have been more understanding. We were hungry and not going to wait for our appetizer to come out after our food and not willing to wait for the correct food to be made probably waiting another 40 minutes. I understand being short staffed and busy but there appeared to be plenty of servers in sight and not overly busy. If it were possible I’d give 0 stars. Very upset after a long day just wanted a nice dinner with my daughter. Hopefully we have better service elsewhere.

Our bartender Kyle was outstanding. Unfortunately our food was not correct and incomplete. We ordered a meal with waffle fries, which is an upcharge and was fine, but we received regular fries. We also ordered a side of queso dip and was charged for it, but didn’t receive. So we were charged $10 for food that we didn’t receive. Certainly not opposed to coming back for drinks, but not sure we’d order food again.
