Let me start by saying that this place is a vibe for sure!!! It’s beautiful, I love the flower walls and the low lighting. The people are very friendly I always feel welcome. The food is good. I always get the butter chicken and it’s the best I’ve ever had and I’ve tried various Indian restaurants. My only complaint is that the naan is always burned. So I gave four stars instead of five. Other than that I love this place.

The food, service and atmosphere was all outstanding. The place looks lovely on the inside and the food tastes even better. If you’re in the CSRA and have a craving for some butter chicken or Indian food give this place a go.

Hey Chat, this was my first time coming to Taj Aiken Indian Cuisine and I have to say. The food was amazing and if you like spicy food. This is the place to be.

I enjoy the food, though the butter chicken tastes sweet, like it has added sugar. The service is as expected, and the atmosphere is fun and funky. But…the use of air freshener as you walk through the door kills it for me. I’m coming to eat and the smell of flowery scent at the door is nauseating. Ditch the airwick (or whatever) and let us smell your food as we walk in, thats why we are coming!!

This was my first trip to this restaurant and wow, they did not disappoint! My coworkers have gone here several times for lunch over the last few months and unfortunately I wasn’t able to join them. Fortunately though, was able to finally try it for myself. The outside of the building isn’t much to look at but the inside is a lovely surprise. The waitstaff were friendly and the food was delicious. The friends who joined me for dinner, eat here regularly so I know that I will be back!

Great consistent food. Priced fairly and very shareable. The owner is a big supporter of the community. Alok Kumar is a very kind and generous man.

My friend and I wanted to try something different for lunch today so we chose this restaurant. I arrived a little early and the waiter did not greet me when I walked in, although I spoke to him. It didn’t take long to be seated. The same waiter appeared to unfriendly and annoyed the whole time. Never once came over to ask how our food was and never brought the straws to the table we requested. My friend went to the counter to get our straws. Anyway, it took a little while for our food to arrive but it was good. However, good food goes hand in hand with customer service. I believe in giving a good tip regardless of the service, so I still gave him a 30% tip. I do not recommend this place, nor will I ever return.

We ordered an Indian feast through Doordash and it was five star all the way! The food arrived HOT and on time. The Papadum was warm and soft, the rice was a very generous serving and had a heavenly scent of Jasmine, our cauliflower appetizers were addictive (highly recommend the Mint sauce for dipping, it’s freshly made) and our four main courses were absolutely delicious: eggplant, spinach, shrimp curry and shredded paneer, all in scrumptious sauces. Can’t wait for the next occasion!

Currently sitting at the table and I just can’t believe how nasty the food was. Very salty and an unpleasant sight to see. Our waitress was very rude I don’t know her name however if you decide to come here you can’t miss the disgusting attitude she has. I order the Veggie Chettinad, Husband had the Navratan Korma and my Parents order the Taj Biryani Deluxe. I’ve been here 3 times and this experience was horrible. Food was nasty uuugggghhhhh what a waste. Also our naan bread was burnt (sigh) the pictures speak for themselves. Our waitress came back at the very end to check to see how the food was after another waitress helped us and checked us out. My husband was the only one who enjoyed his food. We won’t be coming back.

I’ve experienced Taj a couple of time. My experiences have been consistence. I’ve gone when they are busy and moderately occupied.

The acoustics was surprisingly friendly even when it’s packed. The environment in terms of decor and service met my expectations.

The dishes were par with my expectations in terms of aroma and flavor. Proportion was on the lighter side compare to my other experiences for the cost point. It’s pretty much a monopoly in the market in the area.
