The food looked pretty good and I was excited to try the tacos. I have a severe allergy to soy, and I asked my waiter if he knew if the taco meat contained any soy, since I had an allergy. He said he didn’t know, and he refused to even ask the kitchen staff. He gave me no allergy information at all. I would have taken my business elsewhere, but I was attending a birthday party, so I merely ate chips and salsa.

The prices went up but was not worth it. The food had no taste to it at all. We asked for different kind of salsa she brought out some kind of hot liquid. We ordered margaritas we asked for salt on 1 and sugar on the other she didn’t get them right at all. The drinks didn’t have much alcohol in them as well as sugar wasn’t on my rim. The rice was terrible no taste over and under cooked and clumpy. The steak had no flavor at all and very chewy. The cheese dip was cold and clumpy. And to top it all off the front host was very rude when we asked questions about our ticket. I will never come here again. I don’t know what happened to this place but it’s not worth the stop or money at all

I have been here multiple times in the past and the last time prior to tonight’s visit- about 4 months ago. Tonight, I was very disappointed in my food. The menu pricing had changed on my item I love- Costillas de Mexicano, it was 16.99 now it’s 19.99. The price is not the issue though, it’s how they serve it now. The beef ribs are cut up. Mine were grossly overcooked, like leather, I gave them to my kids to eat, they were ok with them being so over cooked but I didnt get to enjoy my entree.. Another at our table brought the issues with this entree (she also ordered the same) to the employee attention and they brought out a couple more beef ribs for us. This time cooked perfect, but still having to go through all that. Ordered my daughter fries and they came out very dark (for what crinkle cut french fries should be). I did send them back and they were remade much better. I hate to complain about food especially since you never know if the cooks in the back will retaliate. Normally I don’t have to send anything back, But tonight made me think that maybe I should just try to find me a new favorite spot. I don’t live close. I live thirty minutes away so I was very disappointed. I’ve also posted a video of what the same order was a few months ago, the difference is night and day. The only difference in tonight’s order versus a few months ago was SUPPOSED to be no onions tonight.

THIS IS THE BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN EAST NASHVILLE!!! I had the Birria Tacos with a side of Rice and it was 10/10. Also, the salsa was AMAZING! This is definitely mine and my husband’s new favorite spot. I definitely recommend this place!

Visited this past weekend on a Sunday. Not very crowded, they offer indoor and outdoor seating. No long wait times we were sat down immediately upon arrival. Outdoors have heat for the upcoming cold months. Our waiter was great. The food was hot and fresh. I ordered top shelf peach margarita 18 oz it was not too sweet, which I liked and had the perfect blend. The restroom was a little tight, but it was clean overall it was a great experience.

Was there for a birthday dinner. The service was horrible. We ordered food that we never got or took forever to come. The server kept hissing at us & walking away while we were talking. He never did any other tables like that. I wonder if this had something to do with our party being black. They also dont give an itemized receipts and add 2 taxes plus gratuity. Lastly they tried to hold one of our people because they claim someone in our party didnt pay (not the person they held). We were given other people’s food. I will not be coming back.

This was our favorite restaurant until tonight. My four daughter’s and I come in to eat often but tonight we were charged 18% gratuity for each person claiming because we are a group of five or more that they automatically charge gratuity. This is not posted in the restaurant ANYWHERE and we were treated as if we were wrong for even questioning. On Christmas Eve we are charged without telling us in advance.

The strawberry Margarita was good, nice size pitcher but the ground beef taco salad was disgusting . The meat was soggy as if it had been sitting inside a can aka cat food . Nice size place drink was amazing though 5/10.
