My waitress Anna Cate was FANTASTIC! She was so personable, a great smile, and immediately opened a conversation building personal rapport.
She went through the menu highlighted this months specials and answered the few questions I had to start with. I ordered the garlic rice with Birria beef and the chicken salad combo addition.
Everything was so quick and fresh but most of all delicious! The chicken was very crispy and the meat was so juicy. I really enjoyed the house sauce section where I could add spice seasoning and some gyoza oil to my meal as desired. Unfortunately I didn’t snap any pictures of the main meal, as I was so ready to start tasting.
Anna Cate was attentive but not bothersome. She was pleasant and respectful. She picked up on all the cues and never had to wait for a refill on my water.
At the end of my meal, I had some additional question in regards to an allergy I have and she went above and beyond and asked her manager what options would be best for my particular needs.
This was one of the best first time experiences I’ve had in a really long time. I cannot wait to return and being my son along to enjoy this marvelous place with amazing food and even better people ❤️
Our server was also very nice – I think his name was Jack. Very helpful and always went above and beyond to help us have a great dinner.
We had a table of 6 so the long wait was understandable, but the website that they use to track seating should be taken with a massive grain of salt. We had to wait another 40 minutes for a table after it said that we would be able to sit.
The place is also a bit small and cramped, but you can expect that for a place on campus at its busiest time.
Overall a good experience and I’ll gladly go again
We went a couple weekends ago on a Sunday at like 4:30 PM when happy hour was still happening. Our server was Jennifer and she was pretty attentive. We got the pork belly bun and then the karage fried chicken (I can’t remember if that’s what it’s called on the menu but that’s what it is lol ). both items were good!! We also both got the black tonkotsu Ramen. While the noodles and broth was pretty good, but did get a bit salty towards the end ..the pork pieces was legit just fat. So I had two pieces of fat and my husband also had two pieces of fat. I’m not sure if that’s normal for this place or if it’s an off day but I was pretty sad and I was so grossed out I didn’t even end up eating it cause who wants to eat fat ..Seriously they should not serve that.. I’ve never been to a Ramen restaurant that has served something like that before .. I’ll include a picture of the piece that I bit into.
The drinks were good though. This place is a bit pricy and the bill can def add up if you order apps.
Also, I don’t know if they make all their servers do this but at the end when they check you out, they also bring a little sign so that you can write a review if you like to on Google. Tables are very close together.. I guess you can make a new friend or eavesdrop on your neighbor lol
Service and atmosphere:
Outstanding on both fronts.
Friendly and welcoming staff (Jackie was our server) with good food knowledge to help you choose your dishes.
Restaurant was clean, organised, very well decorated and had modern vibe.
Food and drinks:
Very good.
This time we tried new birria ramen and we were very satisfied. Hearty and thick broth with tender beef meat, cilantro, diced onions and lime. Authentic flavours.
We didn’t opt for any alcoholic beverages but they do have vast selection.
Pricing:
$$ – worth every cent.
