Stopped by Café Express in Memorial City for a little midday adventure in “healthy-but-happy” eating. The service? Faster than I could scroll the menu. I went with the salmon entrée — tender, balanced, and quietly confident in its flavor (though it whispered, “a pinch more seasoning, please!”). My guest enjoyed the grilled chicken, which arrived just as promptly, looking proud of its grill marks.The place itself was spotless — like they mopped away every calorie temptation from the floor. Parking was surprisingly painless (a rare suburban miracle), and the staff had that effortless friendliness that makes you wonder if they’re secretly fueled by espresso and good vibes.All in all, Café Express nailed the “fresh, clean, and calmly delicious” vibe. Next time I might sneak in some lemon or sauce for a flavor boost… but I’ll definitely be back to chase that healthy glow.

I discovered this place recently and I go there often because I like that there are lots of healthy food options. I recommend checking the menu in advance so you know what you’re going to eat, because when you’re waiting in line to order, they rush you. Everything else is great, the wait staff are very helpful. I really like the food, and so does my son!

Everything was fresh and flavorful! The grilled chicken pesto pasta was perfectly cooked and creamy, the shrimp avocado salad was light yet filling, and the tomato basil soup was rich and comforting. Great service, clean environment, and consistently delicious food. Highly recommend for a

Out & about scouting another restaurant that popped up right in the area I was shopping at. Cafe Express was everything I didn’t expect! The outside is not very inviting but the interior was spectacular! ✨The cafe immediately gave you a sense of freshness, class, and a calm peaceful vibe! The whole staff was friendly, professional, and very accommodating. My order was scrumptious!!! The best part is the prices are affordable and well worth it. Cafe Express also offers wine for a super price, which I thought was a lovely addition to the place. I suggest you stop by if you find yourself in River Oaks. Great Place! ⭐️

My wife and I either have lunch or dinner or a combination of both 2-3 times per week. Menu is varied and it can be as healthy as you want, or as decadent as you choose. Staff is friendly, professional and patient. Food is very good and a super value. They have a nice assortment of beverages and the restaurant has nice freebie extras such as garbanzo beans, olives, croutons, bread sticks and much more. We love this place and it is run like a fine Swiss watch by the manager Candy Flores. Highly recommend this place.

This is a good place for spending an afternoon at. Unlimited drinks with a good atmosphere. The food here is fresh and tasty. Someone who wants a light meal can come. The cafe trio is good for someone that wants salad, sandwich, and soup, with the price under $11. Really like that they provide mint and all other self serve add-ons for your salad.

Quick, fresh, and great prices. This location is really nice and well kept. The bathrooms were super clean. The food was exactly as ordered and the portions were generous. Their kids meals are a great deal. I love their Caesar dressing. This chain is always so consistent and this one is no different. Cashiers were friendly and process the order payments quickly to keep the line short.
