¡Una experiencia increíble! The history of the restaurant was very interesting and the old train cars were fun to explore. Billy was my server and he was very efficient, helpful, and personable. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious options. I ordered quesadillas con pollo and in addition to being very tasty, the portion sizes were quite generous. I ended up taking home half of my food. Considering the price of my meal, $11.75, that is an excellent deal! Billy also kindly gave me an on the house ice cream sundae to celebrate my birthday and several staff members sang happy birthday to me too, which was very nice. I definitely recommend La Estación and look forward to going back soon!

My mom and I recently ate here for lunch and had a great experience. The service was wonderful—everyone was so kind and attentive. I especially appreciated that they brought me three different kinds of hot sauce for my taco salad, which was a nice touch. They also accommodated my love for cheese by giving me 3 different varieties to top my salad. My mom had the fajitas and said they were delicious. The staff truly made us feel welcome, and we will definitely be back.

Honestly, a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I’m in town visiting from SoCal, and I’m often in Mexico for work and leisure. Eating here, you can tell the chef is actually authentic and knows how to make great Mexican food. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Delicious!! Went with friends for the first time and enjoyed everything about this spot. It’s located in an old train station which is a really neat setting. Large menu of all the favorites …. everything we had was great. The flan and tres leches cake to finish was perfect. We had a lot of food for not a lot of money! Can’t wait to come back.

For starters, the building and property are so cool. I’d love to explore it more and would love to enjoy a later evening dinner on their patio once it’s not 15 degrees out.
We had Belkis as our server. She was super friendly and very attentive. We joked with her and she definitely enjoys her job.
I had enchiladas suizas with steak. They were beyond delicious. There was a TON of food on my plate. We didn’t even finish all our chips and I still didn’t finish my plate.
The chips and salsa were great and I got gaucamole which was smooth and delicious.
My friend got the queso and chorizo. The
portion size was awesome. He took more than half of it home.
Overall, an amazing restaurant and atmosphere. I will definitely be back with my wife for date night and try some new entrees!

Excellent Mexican cuisine restaurant in the adaptive reuse of an old train station in Waukesha. Staff was friendly, responsive, and efficient. Prices were reasonable. Food was very good. Didn’t dine in an old train car since our group was too large. We’ll return here for group events in the future.

Really nice Taco Tuesday options. Our table sampled barbacoa, chicken, pork and fish. I think the fish was my favorite. Chips came out warm. Had the Tuesday dessert special too. The staff was friendly and attentive.
