Honestly we had no idea what to expect. Although we don’t speak Spanish and our waitress spoke minimal English we were able to order. I had never had Mafungo. It was tasty but a little dry. The shrimp were outstanding as were the yucca fries. We also had enchilado chicken with rice and beans. The chicken was fantastic and bursting with flavor. Very glad we stopped in the little place.

I was surprised of how good the food was. The chicharrón and carne frita are a MUST! Their tostones are also delicious. I did not love the pika pollo it doesn’t taste dominincan but we will def come back for the chicharrón. 100% recommend
Service is also very nice and the bathrooms very clean. Prices affordable

This place is a gem. Honestly, I passed by multiple times. I never had the ability to go check them out. Today I went in. Danny took great care of us. My order was Chicharon and a side of tostones. My order was completely fresh to order thank you Danny…

Had stew goat and it was nothing to write home about, felt a bit under cooked and the seasoning was off due to extensive use of tomato sauce.

It’s a neighborhood not-so-fancy Dominican restaurant. You’d face the to-go counter & the cash register as you enter the place, but there are plenty space to sit down for dining in. I asked the server for a traditional, typical Dominican dish & she recommended Carne Guisada de Res (beef stew). Maybe it’s served not-piping-hot in Dominican Republic? The stew was luke warm, though yummy. I had a bottle of Dominican beer Presidente, but when I asked for a slice of lime to go with the beer, the slices were cut sideways, not typical length-wise, so it was hard to squeeze the lime juice into the beer bottle. (^.^;)

The food was good and they give you a lot, the oxtail had a lot of fat on it so I won’t be ordering that again.
