I can’t warn you enough to stay away from this location. If i could give negative starts I would. Whoever owns this franchise should be ashamed of themselves. And so should mcdonald’s, for allowing a location to get to this point. Everything on the outside of the building seemed to be in disrepair and broken. While in the Drive-Thru line waiting for my food to be handed to me somebody approached me asking me for money. It seems like this was a regular practice. There was a gentleman right in front of the building who either seem to be on something or in the midst of a mental health crisis.
It left me feeling so uneasy and disgusted that I didn’t touch the sandwich or drink that I got from there. Drove further up the road and stopped at a different McDonald’s. Unfortunately, I wasted my free breakfast sandwich, but it was worth it to not wonder about the inside of the McDonald’s and how it presents itself after seeing the outside of it. The cleanliness was nonexistent, and the customer service didn’t make up for it either…. shame.

I do not recommend ordering from this particular McDonalds on Marion Barry Avenue in SouthEast DC, Through Uber Eats! Every-time someone from my household has placed an order from them, a whole meal would be missing!!! For instance my Daugther happy meal!! This happened atleast 3 times and is inexcusable!! So I came into your establishment earlier with my elderly stepfather, and my elderly Uncle and the young lady came to the register and told us that we need to go to the kiosk. What was the point of her being at the register if we needed to use the kiosk I don’t know also I’m not sure if y’all are aware but old people in technology don’t mix very well if we came in there for something slight like a sandwich just a sandwich or some fries we shouldn’t have to use the kiosk. You have a register that McDonald’s is not packed 24 hours a day as to where no one can take your order at the register there was nobody in line so the fact that the young lady came to the register just to tell us to go to the chaos and I’m there with two old people. It’s a problem for me that y’all need to fix it immediately. OK it’s not professional it’s unbecoming. We didn’t even get anything from your establishment because the young lady turned both of the registers off after I caught her out for getting paid for doing nothing what are you at the register for if you can’t take any orders just because you have chaos. It doesn’t mean that the entire world is accepting of that older people don’t have time for that BS. We came in there for something very small they could’ve been ran up at the register and gave to us as soon as we ordered it but because you have lazy workers, they think the kiosk is the register you lost business And you should be looking forward to losing more because I’m gonna spread the word that this location is discriminatory against Black people, especially older Black people that are not familiar with technology. I also will be in touch with the blBetter Business Bureau.

I go to this McDonald’s quit often and its always something wrong I’ve brought breakfast sandwiches on my way to work to only have the meat and no egg and vice versa egg with no meat. This morning I ordered a Chicken McGriddle meal this morning to not get the hash brown…Im glad I checked. The manager was so so nasty acting and she refused to give me the hash brown said I had to go back around the drive thru and reorder just for the hash brown to make it a meal. The McDonald’s at eastover is closed so the closet one is here on my way to work. The manager need to learn customer service and not just cater to her own race and treat everyone with fearness. She was rude and uvery unprofessional…I purchased that meal 2 to 3 times a week ..The price is always the same …for some reason she wanted me to pay for each item separately.

Compared to other McDonald’s, I was surprised by the service at the drive-thru. Despite a busy line at 5pm on a Thursday, there are two lanes and they move quickly. The man who took my payment was super nice!

It is expected that you will wait in this drive thru for a minimum of 10 min before ordering. No matter the time of day. I have not found a good time that this place is not busy. I’ve been in line as I’m typing this for 8 minutes already. To have my order taken.
They also have us ordering at the first window and not at the leaked box so people probably can’t even see what they want to order making it longer.
If this is supposed to be a quick stop before work or on your lunch break don’t do it!
It’s not fast casual. You can probably get your food made at &Pizza or tropical smoothie way faster and better quality. Never again. Officially late to work. And it’s 5:40 M now. Another 2 min gone by as I’ve continued typing . You’re a 24 hour location. So there’s no excuses it’s not like you just opened.

On 12/3/2025 I placed a delivery order for two meals. When it arrived, the FISH SANDWICH WAS MISSING,AND the fries were half eaten. And you charged my card TWICE!!!!….IM REPORTING this to the BBB, CONSUMER AND REGULATORY AFFAIRS AND THE HEALTH DEPT……AND I WILL NEVER DO UBER EATS AGAIN!!

Also, why are the new orders and mobile orders kept waiting in the same order?
