Definitely a go to place for authentic Mexican. They’ve worked on the interior to improve overall atmosphere and options. The chips can be hit or miss but the salsa is awesome. We usually get the fajitas which are remarkable but I decided on the California burrito.

I finally made the stop at this huge Mexican spot! The bar was incredible! Enormous open dining area. The tables and chairs were large, solid, and comfortable. It was a hot day and the air was pumping. All excellent so far! They have Mt. DEW!! We each ordered something different to try. Service was quick and the food came out almost immediately. Alls I can say is definitely a great meal, the prices were much cheaper than expected and the portions weren’t lacking. Wished I had not waited so long to try but I’m glad to say it’s gonna be added to my rotation of mexican spots to visit!

Was new to the bar and there with friends. We got a margarita tower and beer. We also snacked on chicherrons and salsa and chips. The waiter Adrian was kind is awesome at his job. We sat at the bar and he was getting the drinks out fast. Ut was a nice place. The ladies bathroom was another thing only one toilet worked the other one was filled with you know what and the flush valve was broken. I had a good time and would love to go back.

I have given Camino Real many chances, but after this experience, I will definitely NEVER RETURN.

First of all, there is no hot water in the restrooms, which is completely unacceptable. The food is very overpriced for the quality, and the quality itself has gone downhill. The food is bland, lacks seasoning, and tastes like it was prepared without care. The flavors have definitely changed from what they used to be, and everything is served lukewarm. Many dishes are OVERCOOKED or UNDERCOOKED, sauces are WATERY or FLAVORLESS, and some items that should be fresh are unacceptable. For example, the guacamole has no lime juice, no salt, and is filled with huge chunks of tomato, onion, and cilantro, making it completely unbalanced and unpleasant. Portions are small, PRESENTATION IS SLOPPY, and many plates are CHIPPED AND BROKEN, which is both unsafe and UNPROFESSIONAL.

They also charge for absolutely everything. They charge $1 for a scoop of sour cream and $2 for charro beans, which should not be extra they should simply replace the refried beans on the plate. Even small things like limes or a 2oz salsa are extra, which is ridiculous. It feels like they are constantly trying to squeeze money out of customers.

The menu situation is a complete disaster. There are way too many menus one for prices, one for food, one for desserts, one for breakfast and it’s extremely confusing. There is no reason this can’t be organized better. Realistically, there should only be three menus: one main food menu, one kids menu, and one cocktail menu. Replacing and ORGANIZING MENUS is NOT EXPENSIVE, yet they haven’t done it.

On top of that, the menus are inconsistent and misleading. Some menus list flauta dinner while others don’t. Some say beef tongue is available on weekends, but when you ask, it turns out there is no beef tongue at all. The vegetarian section only lists two entrees, yet the “price menu” shows many more options. The menu setup is confusing and unprofessional.

Another major issue is the payment fees. They charge an extra fee for using a card, which most restaurants no longer do! What’s worse and completely unacceptable is that even when you pay with cash, the fee is NOT REMOVED. You would assume that fee would be removed and go to the server as part of their tips, but it DOES NOT!!! This feels like they are stealing from both customers and servers, which is embarrassing and unprofessional. Charging a card fee even when paying cash is something serious enough to be reported.

Also, the cashiers are always RUDE and have a BAD ATTITUDE whenever customers ask to cash out. This makes the experience even more unpleasant and unwelcoming.

The WORST part of all is how the employees are treated. The owner is screaming at employees in front of customers, treating them with ZERO RESPECT. The owners sit at the bar all afternoon, staring at employees as if they are being monitored or controlled. It creates a toxic, humiliating work environment. No one should be treated this way.

Overall, Camino Real needs a complete overhaul from food quality and pricing, to menu organization, to basic cleanliness, and most importantly, how employees are treated. As part of that overhaul, a serious inspection should be conducted to document all the issues and ensure the restaurant meets proper standards. This experience was horrible and embarrassing.
0/10. Would not recommend!!

Good service, the food is alright but not the best mexican food in the area. I’m not a fan of the chorizo which is a let down. The chips and salsa are horrendous to be honest, chips taste greasy and the salsa is just plain bad almost taste like pasta sauce. Step up the chips and salsa game!

I stopped here with my family after they picked us up from the airport, returning from Egypt. I was looking for something good to eat since we were gone for about 14 days in total, and there for sure was no Mexican food out there like they make it out here, if any at all! Lol.. I was happy to get some when we got back, though! The food and service was great. Luckily, when we went, it wasn’t too busy either, so we were able to get in and out.
