The waitress was kind ..but the food? ..I had the stuffed crab salmon. First of all, again, the waitress was a delight…. The glasses were not checked because mine was dirty. I had the buffalo Shrimp which was decent but the stuffed Atlantic Salmon was horrible. Again It was horrible. It was not stuffed with crab, it was actually topped with crab crust. It had no taste whatsoever and to top this off it wasn’t cooked. When I mentioned this the waitress told me that she would be glad to warmed it up more.. meaning they do not cook this but microwave it because it came back pretty quick. Although the customer service was nice … I refuse to waste any more my money here. As you can see it the pictures I provided.. it wasn’t stuffed, it was topped.. I should have shown were it wasn’t cooked. But the second is when they brought it back to me covered in sauce .

Overall wonderful experience for a birthday celebration. We had a couple hiccups, attempting to schedule our reservation and received a call promptly from Sonia to adjust and make sure we were ready for a great time! She was very friendly and understanding… Made sure our reservation was correct. Upon arrival, a young man opened the door for me and greeted us. Missy had a huge smile on her face and made sure we had somewhere to wait for the rest of our party. Bar staff and management helped provide refreshments, as we arrived a bit before our reservation. After sitting we were greeted with a table set for a good time- staff signed birthday card and all! Then we met Ethan- and he is a stellar server! He really took control and made sure we had a good time by getting drinks and appetizers out first, making sure the kids orders got placed and out right away, suggestions for entrées and made sure we had excellent desserts to celebrate with. Highly suggest dining here and would totally recommend Ethan as a serve server! Such a fun time and he has the best pens- be kind and return them, though!

I must admit that it’s been a little over 5 years since we last visited this restaurant. Our last couple of experiences were less than stellar. It was the inconsistencies with the quality of the prime rib that kept me from returning.
We decided to go back recently for an early birthday dinner. It’s conveniently located in our neighborhood. The atmosphere has definitely changed. I noticed it immediately when we entered. It’s a smaller staff than before. We remember being greeted right away (even at opening time). This time, there was no one at the reception stand. We waited for a few minutes knowing there was a larger group that was there before us. I believe it was the bartender (maybe the host) who eventually greeted & seated us.
Melissa got everything started with our drink order. She was great! I really liked that she had the right amount of attentiveness. We never had to wave her over for anything. She also confirmed that the pretzel sticks are now an additional charge. To be honest, I never liked them that much anyway.
I didn’t get to take a picture of my husband’s Wedge Salad. He started eating it right away. I was impressed with my House Salad. It looked and tasted so fresh. He was also happy with his Peach Bourbon Pork Chop, although he did say that the sauce was a little too sweet for him. We both agreed that it was tender, and not dry. It’s a good choice. I had the Delmonico Ribeye, and it was prepared and seasoned perfectly. Loved it! I had leftovers the next day, and it was just as tasty. It’s my new favorite steak in the area. Our last Texas Roadhouse and Outback steak experiences were horrible. This one at Stonewood is more expensive, but it was worth it. Now, I don’t know how it will be the next time so don’t quote me on this. As I mentioned before, there have been inconsistencies in the past. However, I will say that the cocktails & service here have always been very good.
I will go back for the steak. I’m not sure that I’d order the Prime Rib again. I’ll save that experiment for another day when it’s not a special occasion. Give it a try if you happen to be in Brandon. They also have a location in Tampa Palms which appears to be more popular. It’s a Florida (originated in Ormond Beach) restaurant chain that has been around for over 20 years. It deserves more praise.

We have a good time. The food was good, but I was very disappointed with the Caesar salad. I feel like it’s have no love in it was just dump halfway down on the plate . But the house side looks a lot good though. But we have a great time the steaks had a good flavor. Don’t pay for the Caesar salad very dry with no dressing and no love in it. The side broccoli doesn’t have much taste to it. The mocktail the Tropical Fruit Tea was great. For the money that is paid the side dishes could be better but the main course and service and excellent.

We have been to this restaurant a few times and I always said I liked it but after tonight both my wife and I definitely have to say we love this place. We give five stars to our server Cameron for exceptionally outstanding service.
Everyone from the hostess stand, to the bar including management was outstanding, and the food was incredibly amazing as well. We will definitely be back here again and ask for Cameron to be our server when we return.

Such a GREAT time!! We went here to celebrate my birthday and WOW what a fantastic night!! My family & friends arrived before me and had a great time in the bar area before I arrived.
Beginning to end it was such an amazing experience! Sonia handling our reservation, the guy opening the door upon arrival, Missy providing us perfect seating & a beautiful & fun table … There was a “Happy Birthday” sign & a card signed by the whole team!!
Then Eathan arrived … talk about above & beyond service … he made our evening!! He was a lot of fun, very professional, had great suggestions and recommendations on both food & drinks! Speaking of drinks … the bartender on duty made the best Espresso Martinis (ask for the button)!
While he (Eathan) was serving several tables other than ours (… and I am sure with great service as well) he was always there for us!
When the food came out … everyones food was cooked well, beautiful to look at, and delicious … big compliments to the chef and his team!!
Also … while I did not get his name, the young man that made it a point to consistently stop by and clear our table of the plates & glasses was super nice and helpful!!
We ended with desserts & a BD slice of cake & a pretty loud BD song counted down by Eathan!

Went on a valentines date here and our waiter Ethan was wonderful. We had never been here before and he made us feel very welcome and gave great recommendations. He asked us questions like how we met and when we first started dating, adding a personal touch to our experience. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere is very comfortable. 10/10 would recommend!
