First time at a Waffle House and it absolutely lived up to the hype! We sat at the counter and the staff was super friendly. The food was so good and a great value for the price. I got the All Star and the waffle came out a bit after everything else, which was perfect since it was hot and fresh!

Driving through Maryland every few months, I make sure to stop here for breakfast at least once on those trips. The food is consistently solid, the coffee good, the bathrooms meh. I’ve only been here during weekday mornings, but it’s usually the same. I’ve tried others along the route but I like this one best. The guy who is the cook, at least for the past few months, does great waffles!

Aaron is still the best short order cook!!

This is the grits I ordered. Who were these “bricks” served to, me? I doubt anyone would willingly eat this. I travel across the country and often visit this establishment, and everywhere else grits are served properly, not like “bricks.” This time I decided to post about it — I was forced to.

I ask the management to pay attention so that the staff treats customers like human beings, not like cattle. Before serving food to a customer, dear waiters, ask yourselves — would you eat this yourselves?

Staff is always friendly at the WH. Can never go wrong with the WF. Loud atmosphere as it should be.

We’ve been driving across various states over the past week, and stopped at a lot of different Waffle House branches all of which were top notch. Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, through to Washington DC, and now on our way to Philadelphia, then New Jersey and New York. This one however was so bad! It’s very dirty, service is slow (longest wait we’ve had yet for coffee), no focus on patrons, each employee is just doing their own thing. At least the coffee was still on par, but you would not be catching me eating here, it’s just too dirty yikes!

A truly idyllic Waffle House experience. I’ve met many wonderful WH workers over the years but South is easily among the greatest of all time; fast, friendly, and genuinely more attentive than any server I’ve had at any establishment in recent memory. Give her a raise immediately

20% on to go orders, stop at another place for on the go road trips. I rather tip 40% than be forced to pay 20%. Alternatively just order to stay, then bring it to your car in to go containers. They are also shamefully slow here.

The Waffle House is a sanctuary of restoration.

4 days were spent living in squalor, trapped in a 2-bed hotel room with 10 other adult men, eating nothing but cheese quesadillas cooked on an ironing board. Then an hour into our return journey, we realize we need to turn back because I forgot my laptop in the hotel room. Suddenly, our 4-hour trek becomes 6 hours. Is there nothing that can ease our spirits?

We return to the pit where we swore we would never return, and somehow, I emerge from the ashes, laptop in hand. We share a victorious embrace, but the end is not near. We are in the same place we were two hours ago, and still need to voyage home. We restart our travels, exhausted from 4 sleepless days of dairy consumption.

It is approaching lunchtime, and we decide to stop at the Waffle House. Little do we know that what is waiting for us is not just sustenance, but life-breathing nourishment. We enter the threshold of the establishment broken and defeated. We leave, refueled – no, revived by the likes of biscuits and gravy, eggs and toast, a cheeseburger with waffles instead of buns, and the sweet melody of our new favorite hymn, “Only at the Waffle House”. We have new life. We are new creations.

The Waffle House is a sanctuary of restoration.

I usually go to the Waffle House in Falston but decided to visit this one today. The customer service was fine but my food was terrible. The cook didn’t follow any of the instruction on how I wanted my food. She brought my sides out and I had to wait another 15 minutes for the main course. The eggs were very very runny and not edible. But the amount of time it took to get it I didn’t want them made over. The grits were very lumpy. the waitress that seated and served me was very very nice , her name is Dorene. The cook didn’t pay close attention to the simple details because the people that came in after me she messed their order up as well. The other guy that was on shift didn’t greet anyone but walked back and forth from the front of the restaurant to the back having a personal conversation on his cell phone never greeting anyone that entered the restaurant. In fact he kept mean mugging everyone his attitude was very unpleasant and unwelcoming. I’ll add a photo of him as well. So many flies flying around the food. It’s ridiculous!!

I drove 45 minutes from Baltimore to go to Waffle House today and indeed was not worth the drive.

My first time ever trying Waffle House & I gotta admit the food was 10/10. The waffle was thee best waffle I have ever tried. The service was fast & honestly it wasn’t ghetto like social media makes it seem. I can’t vouch for any other location, but if I get any opportunity to go back I WILL. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS that for their breakfast meat they only offer Pork. But it was still worth it. And the food was super affordable.
Pics below. I got the Waffle House special I believe. It came with 1 waffle, scrambled eggs extra cheesy & a biscuit. For two meals it was only $22.50. I was super full & had was so tired after eating . That’s how you know the meal was good.
