Jan 2 2026 and the first fail of the year is Golden Pride NE by Eubank. I don’t know if they were having a bad day or if this is just how it’s gonna be from now on, but of all the things they dropped the ball on was as simple as posolé – at 6.29 for 16 oz and no tortilla. First – my chicken was steamed and soggy and my fries were wet, but this ATROCITY was nothing but water and corn. CHEAPSKATES. No taste at all and almost NO MEAT. Shame on you. This is the kind of “New Mexican” food restaurants in Colorado and New York serve to tourists.
Employees are very nice. Food is normally good, but not today. Do better and fire whoever is responsible for serving soggy chicken and water + corn for over 25 dollars at your restaurant. Times aren’t bad to justify that kind of price gauge, at least serve good food at that price. Only reason I’m giving two stars is because of the history I have with this restaurant.
Waste of my money and time.

OMG… In town for a visit and Frontier/Golden Pride is a must. The Frontier burrito with carne is AMAZING. Rib combo was great as always. Cinnamon Rolls are soooo delicious.
the line was out to the street but they move you through the process quickly. We were only in line for about 10 minutes. Don’t panic if the line is long. They have the chaos down to an art.

I get the chef salad an embarrassing amount of times a week as it’s a pregnancy craving of mine. I wish the different locations served the same size containers of salad and ranch. This locations ranch is smaller and I never have enough. Also, they always have water at the bottom. But today’s was bad

Drive through was very fast but portions were tiny. The cups that the sides came in weren’t even half full. The fried chicken was some of the smallest pieces I’ve seen. Definitely not the Golden Pride that I used to know. Tasted good but was left hungry.

Went this morning. A lady at the front of the line ordered a few trays of burritos. Instead of having her pull to side and park, the genius employees had her stay in line holding everyone else up for over 20mins. Good job guys!

So this place has massive confusion when it comes to buritos. . . Correct me if I am wrong but this isn’t how you fold a burito. . .
Half of the time it is a taquito style fold letting all the innards drop out. . . But this new taco style burrito fold is just. . . Wow.
Golden pride has no more pride in their food it seems. . .

Great food and friendly service! The green chile stew is delicious and the chicken is always great. Location is convenient but it’s a busy spot—cars are usually lined up outside. Still worth the wait every time! ️

There is no longer any in-person dining, everything is take out. Food is delicious, portions are huge (especially compared to KFC!), but at dinner time, the lines are long. That said, they really hustle and the line moves fairly fast. (The long line is a testament to how good the food is, and reasonably priced also!)

I love golden pride breakfast burritos, but at this particular store I only get a good one about 25% of the time. The people there don’t seem to care if they are serving you stale tortillas and old food. It shouldn’t be a roll of the dice every time I order a breakfast burrito

My wife loves Golden Pride’s chicken, and normally we are happy with their takeout. However, this last order was disappointing because the fried chicken was not crispy and appeared to be slightly undercooked. The breast meat had a slight pink-ish hue within the center, so we put the pieces into our oven to complete the cooking (just to make sure it was safe). We’ll probably give GP another chance, but in the mean time, we’ll buy our take-home fried chicken elsewhere.
