12/11/25: Cummings. Did not get a name for the blonde lady but she was Great. Food: Today the bakery section looked and smelled like a bakery section with almost a perfect selection..Pumpkin Pie at GC is always great. Yes, you had actual desert bowls out and flat small desert plates out. About time. We also use the desert bowls for our portion control on vegetables, etc. We keep the tray, load about 6 desert bowls and go to vegetables and cold bar options. A tray stops multiple trips with two bowls at a time. Another Great. Yes, sanitary gloves for picking up the tongs, eating chicken wings, and peeling shrimp! About time. Hand Sanitizer mounted through unit. Salad Bar was Almost Great. Ice Berg lettuce has No vitamins, minerals or health benefits. Great rough laxative if that is why you are rating out. GC has a large bowl of Iceberg lettuce which is ummm, a bad choice. Romaine lettuce in a large bowl. Spinach (Great) and was in a large bowl as it shoukd be. Spinach is delicious, packed with vitamins and minerals. Looked a little wilted though. Mixed Greens (Great), like Spinach is packed with vitamins, minerals, Delicious. The Mixed Greens should replace Iceberg for the Large Bowl but was in a very small container. Bad Decision. My wife loves the pulled pork at Barrett Parkway. She was not sure what you guys had done but pulled a couple of napkins and removed the bite from her mouth. Great choice of vegetables and a lot of choices. My dessert bowls were all vegetables and no meat. Meat choices in general on the lunch hot bar were limited and sorry. No pork, onions and gravy, only buffalo wings, limited to one shrimp option. I did see a turkey breast on a cutting board. The standard beef pot roast covered in gravy with gluten in it. I saw those really high sodium wenners or sausages on the Turner and no hot dog buns (???). The Soups and Chili are all very high sodium and with wheat / gluten. Tea was good. No pure stevia option at the table. Pumpkin pie was great. Pecan pie looked great. And the other that is a “sin” not to have year round but MIA was coconut pie. But, overall, the bars were very good. Bathrooms…. Not so great. It never ceases to amaze me how many adult men cannot aim and hit the inside of the urinal and basically pee all over the floor where you stand. I was taught as a baby to pee in the hole at our outhouse and not to pee on my hands. People today are just nasty, apathetic, ignorant and lazy. They do not care. I am not talking about people working construction with dried mud on their work boots. Again. Our waitress was Great. She gave us a nice tip….as it should be.

This particular establishment’s food is consistent and follows the corporate recipe. The food quality is great and isn’t salty.
The waitstaff are friendly haven’t had a bad experience.
Every station bar is cleanly maintained.
The Asian manager is friendly and always welcoming.
The only thing I’d say is check the silverware and utensils. There are times when I find napkin debris stuck on them.
This is my only thing I wish there was a way we can leave a tip on the receipt. I would think this would benefit the waitstaff. Advancing cash upon pay is something I learned recently.

But the employees behind the counter serving steaks and beef where never there. When they finally came none of them could speak English. They had no clue what we asked for.

Had a fantastic late lunch at the Cumming location today! The buffet selection was spot on, but what really made the visit special was the service. Jessica was incredible! She was so accommodating and friendly, making sure my drink stayed full and checking in just the right amount. It’s rare to find such genuine service at a buffet. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by and hope you get Jessica as your server!

Yesterday I went to the Golden Corral in Cumming, Georgia for dinner with my family. First of all, I want to say that our waiterFer provided excellent service to me and my entire family. We never ran out of drinks, and he was very quick to give us refills and clear away our dirty plates. He has a very friendly personality and a beautiful smile. The food was delicious and everything was very fresh. I was also surprised that, for a buffet, all the employees and managers kept the area very clean and maintained a very professional atmosphere

Personally I like the food. There is a vast selection of food and most of it is tasty. There are several reasons why I like buffet style restaurants:
Large selection so everyone can find something they like
You can see what you are getting not ordering in the blind
You can serve yourself and start eating right away without browsing a menu and interacting with a waiter multiple times

Ordering our Golden Corral favorites-meats, side dishes, and dessert- was a big hit and more than enough for the everyone to have seconds and pack to go plates. Jason and his team from the Marketplace Cumming, GA location displayed the utmost professionalism. They were puntual, neatly packed everything we ordered, and stored everything in the car. Every time we go there the price is different. Tuesday November 4th we are there and the food was disgusting. Fish was almost raw inside, bourbon chicken was overcooked or set out too long, squash casserole didn’t have any taste at all just bland and awful, the red meat was so red there was red stuff running out of it. The red velvet cake was so dry and tasted like it had been out for days. This was what we got for $44.00 and change! We won’t be eating at this disgusting place again! Food use to be good but not now. It almost made me sick!
