Hair in my son food. I recently had a disappointing experience at Zaxby’s when I ordered a kids meal for my son, which included chicken fingers and fries. Unfortunately, the meal was marred by a significant issue.
While the chicken fingers appeared to be crispy and appealing at first glance, my son’s excitement quickly turned to disappointment when we discovered a hair mixed in with the food. This was not only unappetizing but also raised concerns about cleanliness and food safety.
I expect a certain standard of cleanliness, especially when it comes to food served to children.
I felt that the situation should have been handled more proactively. A an offer to refund the meal would have gone a long way in addressing my frustration.
Overall, my experience at Zaxby’s was very disappointing due to the hair found in the food. I hope this issue can be addressed, as I really wanted to enjoy a meal with my son. It’s hard to recommend a place when cleanliness is a concern. I’ll think twice before returning.

I ordered at this location for a drive-thru pick up order after a long day being out running errands. I place my order an hour before it closed and set it to be ready at 11:30. I get there around 11:25 and let them know I have a mobile order. I am disabled and it is hard for me to walk. I am told that I have to walk inside to pick up my order that I specifically placed for drive thru so I wouldn’t have to get out of the car. Why give me options at that point. Once in I wait 15 minutes before I even get help. Another customer in line orders the same shake as I do but with different toppings, they hand her my shake. She takes it, and then they realize they mixed it up and take it from her hands and gives it to me. They then forget my large Coke, I tell them and somehow they didn’t care to let me know they don’t have Coke in the front or back, and can’t turn the machine on? By that point it is 11:58. Then after opening meal when I get home
I find that my large double fry is the portion of maybe one fry section. Not to mention it has no salt or seasoning that I wanted. After a long tiring day I wanted to relax with dinner, instead I had to wait almost 30 minutes for an order that I placed ahead of time. I am very disappointed in my experience.

The salad looked great and was nicely presented with colorful toppings and a generous portion size. However, while it was visually appealing, the taste was just okay — nothing that really stood out. Freshness was decent, but the flavors could have been more vibrant and better balanced.

Ever since I moved to Eatonville, Florida, Willie at Zaxby’s has been one of the main reasons this location feels so welcoming and consistently excellent. From the very first visit, Willie has gone above and beyond to make sure every customer feels appreciated, remembered, and taken care of, which truly sets him apart. He is always friendly, professional, and patient, no matter how busy the restaurant is, and he never hesitates to greet customers with a positive attitude and a genuine smile. Willie pays close attention to orders, makes sure everything is accurate, and is quick to fix anything if there’s ever a concern, all while maintaining a calm and respectful demeanor. Over time, it’s clear that he takes pride in his work and cares about providing great service, which has made my experiences at this Zaxby’s consistently enjoyable. His strong work ethic, reliability, and kindness have made a lasting impression on me since moving to the area, and employees like Willie are the reason customers keep coming back. He truly represents outstanding customer service and is a huge asset to the Eatonville Zaxby’s location. I truly believe he should become a manager very soon. I see nothing but good things in Willie’s future at Zaxby’s, as his strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude make him an incredible asset to the Eatonville location and someone the company would be lucky to continue developing and promoting.

So I’ve been seeing these tacos on TV even you guys advertising it and I know it’s not gonna always come out exactly how it’s shown but I barely got any lettuce in my food and it was just disappointment. I am very disappointed. I drove 20 minutes to you guys And I really honestly don’t ever eat Zaxby’s and this was gonna be my turnaround. I was really excited about chicken tacos my chicken is soggy like I don’t understand barely any lettuce. Here’s pictures. Also pretty ridiculous for me to spend $40 on three meals and no side and barely any lettuce. I’m thinking these are hefty tacos and barely anything in it

Where Patience Goes to Die
I don’t know what ancient curse hovers over this location, but somehow, they’ve turned bad service into an Olympic sport. The food? Fine. Great, even. The reason I keep crawling back like a battered fast-food optimist. But the service? It’s like they all made a blood pact to see how long a customer can stand before losing the will to live. Fifteen-minute waits for a simple order, every single time.
And heaven forbid you mention an allergy or ask a question they’ll look at you like you’ve just asked them to solve a Rubik’s cube blindfolded. Sauces? Always forgotten. And anyone who knows fast food knows: no sauce = no joy.
Today’s experience was the cherry on top of this sad sundae. After the usual wait, I get home to find my chicken sandwich missing the promised full toppings, no lettuce, no tomato, and definitely not the “extra sauce” I requested unless “extra” now means “phantom.”
Will I come back? Probably. Because I’m apparently a masochist and the food still slaps. But the staff? Let’s just say they’re clearly in a competition to see who can care the least and so far, they’re all winning.
