Solid steakhouse and not ultra expensive like most high-end steakhouses. If you are steak lover, this is the place for you. Great options and portion sizes are huge. Service was also top notch. We started with fried calamari which was just perfect – not too oily and just the right breading. I ended up ordering Cowboy steak which had awesome flavor and it was done right – just the how “medium” steak is supposed to be. Their fresh sourdough bread is not something that you want to miss. They also offer complementary beans and fresh salad with the meals which we were not expecting for the prices they have. We ended our meal with Apple pie and ice cream which was ok but worth a try. The place is also very clean. Our server, Cody, made our experience great. We will definitely go again.

Worked in Livermore for 20 years now. This Cattlemens has always just been across the freeway. Came in tonight for a work dinner. Service was decent. Greeted by two younger ladies which wasn’t knowledgeable at all about our reservations. Overall food was okay. Shared family style salad bowl. Bread with butter. Nothing special. Expected better Prime Rib. Food was okay. I prefer Texas Roadhouse. My opinion Texas Roadhouse has better Harris quality steaks and portion.

Who doesn’t like Cattlemens restaurant, boy I sure do! So, when Wingtip Charlie called and said “meet me at the Napa Airport, and we’ll go get steaks” I was all in…but I remembered the restaurant there closed down years go! It wasn’t until I saw Wingtip’s Twin Turboprop on the tarmac that I realized we’d be going somewhere else for that steak!
“Livermore” he shouted out when I asked where are we going..followed by a definitive “Cattlemens” It must be my lucky day I thought!
A big fat bacon wrapped filet mignon covered in sautéed onions and mushrooms with a plump baked potato, and we didn’t even have to wash the dishes! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ food and just as many for the outstanding service!

From the moment I walked in I had a great experience. I entered in from the bar side around 9:05pm I was greeted by the bartender and waiting staff who wanted to immediately have me set!
I informed them I had a reservation and they pointed me to the desk where I was immediately greeted and helped by the kind manager who had my waiter direct and seat me.
The restaurant is beautiful with wooden furniture and cowboy themed designs throughout on the lamps and the cool carved statues.
My waiter checked on me regularly and was incredibly helpful and patient with me!
Now for the food. Oh man My mouth is watering just thinking about the steak I had last night. It was tender and juicy and so sweet. If I wasn’t watching my weight I’d go again tonight LOL!

Me and the mancakes come here when he’s feeling like eating a good portion of meat. My guy is definitely a meat eater and this is the best possible place to bring somebody that is a meat eater! Every time we come here, staff is super attentive and you can tell a lot of them really do care about the place they work and the people they serve. We were greeted and acknowledged multiple times by multiple servers, and I’m pretty sure the manager running the place at around 7:15 PM. Waiter (receipt says Adam C.) was super cool and even though it was a busy night he did great work with checking in with us periodically. Definitely a date night casual kind of place will definitely patronize this location again.

All you can eat salad, all you can eat fresh, warm, big, soft sourdough bread roll, all you can eat baked beans and one side choice included with most or all entrees. Steaks are great. Ribs are awesome. Service is an A+.

We had a great experience at Cattlemen’s! All four of us ordered steaks, and every one was cooked perfectly — exactly to temperature and full of flavor. It’s not easy to get four steaks just right at the same table, but they absolutely did.
The service was excellent as well. The manager, Jeff, stopped by the tables to check in while we were dining and was incredibly friendly and welcoming. That personal touch really made the night feel special. We’ll definitely be back!

Tonight my family and I took our Great Grandmother Connie to celebrate our beloved Papos 90th birthday (Her partner in crime) . Cattlemans was my nana and Papos special place throughout their 70+ years of marriage and so we always find ourselves visiting whenever it is his birthday, we love the food and the memories we have shared there for many years. Tonight’s manager and server (im so sorry im bad with names) both took care of us and made us feel very loved, valued and comforted in celebrating the life of our patriarch. A huge thank you for treating us so special and for making our dinner and yummy desert one to remember, my nana felt so happy and joyful and for that I am forever grateful for the time and care that was spent on us. We will continue to be returning customers as will the next generations of our family will as well ❤️
