I redeemed a free McChicken through the app and ordered two Hot ’N Spicy sandwiches (no mayo, add cheese) and a McDouble with no pickles. While checking my order, I noticed that the McChicken I had redeemed was missing. I brought this to the attention of the employee at the drive-thru window and was told it would cost an additional $2.16.
I showed my receipt to explain that the item had already been redeemed. At this point, a short Hispanic female employee with braces and blonde hair became argumentative. The interaction escalated unnecessarily, and the drive-thru window was shut in my face. I felt intimidated, especially as multiple employees became involved, making the situation feel hostile.
What is most concerning is that the manager on duty witnessed this interaction and did not intervene, de-escalate the situation, or correct the employees’ behavior. No customer—especially one who is working and accompanied by a client—should feel threatened or disrespected in this manner.
This behavior is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about employee conduct, customer safety, and management oversight. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed, addressed appropriately, and that corrective action be taken to prevent this from happening again.
Today, I said “thank you” and “I really appreciate it” when my order was brought to my table — only to be met with an attitude like I’d somehow done something wrong. That really upset me. This isn’t the first time either — it’s the second time I’ve experienced poor service and rude behavior at this location.
Simple acts of politeness, like holding the door for someone, seem to be too much to expect here. At this point, I’m honestly not surprised anymore, but it’s disappointing. I shouldn’t feel disrespected for being polite and showing appreciation.
I came in to fix an order that was suppose to have two 10 piece chicken nuggets and 2 large fries in a code i redeemed, the lady said show me the receipt and i showed her my receipt and she immediately said she couldn’t fix my order.
She went to back and started speaking about me in Spanish I have the whole thing one video. Then she said I had no permission to record her and that she wouldnt be fixing my order , lil did she know I spoke fluent Spanish she disrespected me in Spanish, the Hispanic gangster with the vest that works with her also said threating things as I walked out of the store with my 4 year old in the car waiting for me. I will be coming in tomorrow morning to personally tell the day shift or store owner over this matter and will be uploading the video on social media so everyone can see how they treated me over 10 nuggets I paid for. if mcdonalds employees can threaten customer as they are leaving the store, then ill be taking my daughter and my business elsewhere. Everything was recorded and will be on social media
