I had an amazing dining experience at Kincaid’s in Redondo Beach! My server, Natalia, was absolutely wonderful and made the experience even better. I ordered the 7-ounce filet mignon with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and it was cooked to perfection. The steak seemed to be grilled over an open wood flame with almond-flavored wood, which added a lovely, unique taste. My son had the shrimp and chicken alfredo, and that was equally delicious. Highly recommend this place for great food and excellent service!
Dessert was spectacular—we tried three different desserts: banana butter cake, key lime pie, and crème brûlée. I had the banana butter cake, and it was incredible. It reminded me of banana bread crossed with banana pudding, served with ice cream—absolutely delicious. My son tried the others, and I’ll update once he gives his full review.
Highly recommend Kincaid’s for outstanding food, excellent service, and a memorable dining experience!
The attention to my gluten free requirements was extraordinary. Our server Paula (I believe that’s her name!) went above and beyond to ensure everything was safe, and consistently double checked each item. She was also just lovely and kind in general.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and the atmosphere was cozy and intimate. Located along Redondo Beach Pier, we were able to watch the waves as we ate, which made it an even nicer experience.
Definitely recommend!
We ordered the fisherman’s and bishops and the fisherman’s platter and both were great and extremely filling.
They also have deserts like key lime pie and New York cheesecake, but we were full. Great food, service, and views of the ocean.
Our server was named Miguel Angel. He was not very attentive at all. It took long periods of time for him to come and take our order and serve us drinks. Miguel did not take any unused dishes from our table and they kept adding up so much that I had to remove them myself and set them on the sink counter that was located by where we were sitting.
I saw our waiter whispering to another server or hostess and it was obvious that he was complaining about a customer. Really tacky. I later found out it was actually about the couple at the table next to us. I thought it was super rude that he wasn’t worried about upsetting the guests.
At the end of our meal we had told the waiter that the food was terribly bland and that it was subpar. Nothing was done to comp the meal but after how they treated the other couple next to us we were nervous to even complain because the scene they caused. I left a tip, and a note letting them know they could expect a review and that we should have just went to Mc Donald’s.
I would not recommend this restaurant if my life depended on it. Highly disappointed as well as the rest of my dinner party guests. Save your money and just eat takeout on the pier.
Our server was WAY to chatty about herself.
View was nice.
Prices were not cheap.
Wouldn’t spend my money there again.
